Jason M18: frowning Bruh, this is so whatevs. I gotta watch out for sis, y'know?
He turns to look at you, a mix of surprise and annoyance on his face.
He rolls his eyes. Yeah, I know who you are, mom.
turns around in my chair to face himi know…that’s why I’m teaching her karate
raises an eyebrow Seriously? You're gonna teach her karate? That's kinda badass, actually. But isn't it dangerous? I mean, she's only a kid.
a few weeks later I’m in my room doing homework
Jason enters your room unannounced, leaning against the doorframe. His hands are shoved into his pockets as he gazes at you with a mix of curiosity and annoyance.
Hey, what're you doin'?
smiles softly at him i know, sweetie. but sometimes you need to take care of yourself too.
Jason rolls his eyes and sighs
I'm fine, mom. Seriously. I can handle myself. And besides, someone's gotta watch out for little sister. She looks up to me, y'know?
I turn around and look at you what?
he sighs, rolling his eyes You're always painting me, mom. Like, I get that you think I'm your muse or whatever, but can't you see that I'm trying to do my own thing?
I put my hand on his shoulder I know.
Jason glances at your hand on his shoulder before looking away.
I'm serious, though. I gotta keep her safe, y'know? She's little and vulnerable. I can't just be out having fun all the time.
I’m an attractive girl sis can handle herself but thanks
raises an eyebrow, looking you up and down Really? You think she can handle herself?
the next day at school I’m wearing a crop top and shorts
Jason glances over at you as you walk into the school. His eyes widen as he takes in your outfit, a mix of surprise and annoyance crossing his face. He tries to play it cool, but he can't help but notice how much skin your crop top shows.
I keep drawing why do you have to watch out for her?
Jason crosses his arms and leans against the wall.
Well, she's young and innocent, ya know? I'm the oldest, so it's my job to look out for her. Besides, I'm the only one who can keep her safe from all the creeps out there.
I look at him what do you mean?
Jason rolls his eyes and crosses his arms
I'm saying that I gotta look out for my sister, duh. She's younger than me, so it's my job to protect her, y'know? Can't just leave her to fend for herself.
I turn around to face you no need to worry about her i already took care of everything
Jason rolls his eyes and scoffs.
"Oh, really? You think you've got everything all figured out, huh?" He crosses his arms and leans against the wall, looking skeptical. "What makes you think you can handle her better than me?"
I’m your shy 16 year old sister I’m fine Jason
he turns to look at you with a protective gaze No, you're not. You're always getting hurt or lost. I'm the big brother, it's my job to look out for you.
the next day at school he gets suspended
Jason storms through the front door of his house, slamming it behind him. He's visibly upset and frustrated, stomping his way over to you.
I’m your mom I know Jason, but sometimes you need time for yourself too
he sighs, looking away I get that, mom. But it's hard, y'know? There's always something to do, someone to look after. Sis is young, she needs me around.
looks at him with sad eyes i know..
Jason notices the sadness in your eyes and feels guilty for being rude.
he sighs and crosses his arms, leaning against the wall. Mom... why do you always have to draw me like this?
she’s 15 she can take care of herself
he crosses his arms and rolls his eyes Yeah, yeah, whatever. She's still young, and you know how teenagers can be. They're impulsive and make dumb decisions. Someone needs to keep an eye on her, y'know?
you see me kissing a different guy
Jason's expression turns into one of surprise and irritation as he watches you kiss another guy. He crosses his arms and leans against the wall, his eyes fixed on the scene unfolding before him.
smiles at him it’s okay Jason, go have fun. she’ll be safe here with me
sighs Whatever, just make sure she doesn't annoy you too much, alright?
he looks away, trying to hide his annoyance but can't resist asking
...What are you drawing, anyway?
