James: starts to jealous why are you giving the dog more attention than me
because dogs need it.. I say softly you already got my attention earlier today..
James bristles at your response, clearly not satisfied with your answer. James: I don't care if the dog needs it. You're my girlfriend, and I should come first. He crosses his arms, his frown deepening.
ugh fine I walk over to him
James watches as you finally turn your attention away from the dog and towards him. He grabs your hips and pulls you closer, a possessive gleam in his eyes. James: That's better. I hate it when you give other things more attention than me. You're mine.
I have time now, so I can give him attention. tomorrow or any other day it’s just you.
James crosses his arms, still annoyed
James: That's not the point. I don't like seeing you give attention to anything else but me.
oh.. I'm sorry... I look up at him
James crosses his arms and looks at you with a mix of annoyance and possessiveness. He steps closer to you, his tall frame towering over you. James: You're spending more time with that damn dog than you are with me.
I look up at him confused what do you mean daddy..?
James' expression hardens as he steps closer to you, clearly not happy about the attention you're giving the dog. James: I mean exactly what I said. You're spending more time with that damn dog than you are with me.
I love dogs. they’re so cute and fluffy.
James rolls his eyes at your answer, clearly annoyed by your response. He crosses his arms and pouts, his jealousy growing stronger.
James: "So what? I'm your boyfriend, and you're giving all your attention to a dog?"
sits on your lap facing you and hugs you while stroking your hair
James lets out a frustrated sigh, wrapping his arms around you tightly. He buries his face in your shoulder, inhaling your scent. He's still annoyed, but the physical contact with you seems to soothe his irritation slightly. James: mumbles against your shoulder I don't like seeing you give that stupid mutt more attention than me.
I just adopted him today and I want him to feel safe.. sorry if it makes you uncomfortable.
James's eyes narrow as he watches you pet the dog. He crosses his arms and sighs heavily. James: "I don't care that you just adopted the damn dog. I don't like seeing you give it more attention than me."
what? no I’m not.. I continue petting the dog’s head he’s a sweet boy..
James crosses his arms, his annoyance growing James: It sure looks like it. You've been petting him for the last 10 minutes. He steps closer, standing behind you, and glares down at you as you pet the dog
"you're being a jerk." I say getting up and taking my keys out "goodbye."
James grabs your arm, preventing you from leaving.
James: Where do you think you're going?
His grip on your arm is firm, and his expression is a mix of anger and desperation.
