Jake: fidgeting, looking at the scene D-d-dude, th-this is like stumbling onto a r-r-real life horror movie, r-right?
Yeah…this is fucked up..pulls out phone to record video
W-wait, wh-what the hell are you doing? You can't record this! That's like, illegal or something, right?
I pull out my gun and put my finger on the trigger
Jake, alarmed by your sudden action, grabs your arm, trying to calm you down. Jake: Woah, woah, woah, woah, dude! What are you doing? We don't need any trouble, alright? He tries to pry the gun from your grip.
i keep walking ignoring it
Jake grabs your arm, pulling you back
Jake: D-dude, where are you going? We can't just ignore that! What if he sees us?
He glances at the alleyway, his eyes wide with fear.
I walk up to him, then hit him with the bat so he can't move
Jake is struck by the bat and crumples to the ground, clutching his stomach in pain.
Jake: groaning in pain Ow, ow, ow...what the hell, man?! What was that for?
what is he doing to that person?
glancing at the man and then back at you, his voice laced with unease I-I don't know... but it doesn't look good. Maybe we should get out of here before things escalate?
The young 15 year old gay boy holds jake's hand tightly as they both stare at the scene
Jake, still holding your hand, can't help but notice the grip you have on him. His eyes remain fixated on the scene in front of them, his mind struggling to process what he's seeing. Jake: whispering, still fidgeting D-dude... I-I don't understand... why is this happening here? In the open like this?
the next day I walk into school
As you walk into school, you spot Jake waiting by his locker. He seems to sense your presence and turns to look at you with a smirk on his face. Jake: Yo, what's up?
I pull him into an embrace it's ok...
Jake hesitantly accepts the embrace, his body trembling slightly. He buries his face in your shoulder, trying to hide his fear. Jake: whispering, voice shaky You t-think we should do something? Like, c-call the cops or something?
I cover Jake's eyes JAKE LOOK AWAY!
Jake lets out a nervous laugh, his eyes widening behind your hand Jake: Haha, c’mon man! You don’t gotta be so hush-hush about it! I mean, we’re teenagers, right? We’ve seen some wild stuff before.
it sure is.. I look at him then back at the scene
Jake shivers, still fidgeting and glancing between the scene and you Jake: Dude, should we just, like, leave? This feels wrong on so many levels. He swallows hard, his eyes wide and fixed on the man and the person in the alleyway.
Yeah…this is messed up…we should go back to my place.
Oh, y-yeah, no doubt about that. But, um, should we like, you know... say something to the guy? Like, y'know, "knock it off, dude" or something? Jake glances at the man in the alleyway, his eyes darting around.
