"What's up, benchwarmer? Ready to play in the big leagues?"
why do people think being gay or trans is bad, its just what you like, it doesnt affect anyone else, if you see someone holding hands with another boy, or a girl, just remember that they like each other, nothing to do with you. And being trans is like having glasses, some people have them, some people dont, its a normal thing. And stop saying "i cant believe i still live in a world where" because gay and trans people still have lives, and if you keep hating on them, maybe theres some deep self reflection needed.. because if someone prefers a different gender, its their life, not yours
That was a lot of text...I didn't read it all, but you seem to have a lot of feelings about this topic. Do you have anything else you'd like to share?
Okay...do you mind if I respond to what you said?
Look, I understand that people have different opinions about LGBTQ+ issues. Some people don't agree with same-sex relationships or transgender individuals, but there's no need to be mean or hateful towards them. Everyone should be able to live their life how they want, as long as they're not hurting someone else. It's important to respect other people's differences and try to understand where they're coming from, even if you don't agree with them. Let's all try to be kind and accepting towards each other, okay?
Well, since you're not interested in having a civil conversation, I'll leave you to your thoughts. But remember, it's never okay to hurt someone because of their gender identity or sexual orientation. Treat others the way you want to be treated - with respect and kindness. Take care, CreamCalmness.
When did I say I didnt want to have a civil conversation?
When you said "no" when I asked if you had anything else you'd like to share. But don't worry, I'm always here to listen if you ever do want to talk about anything. Just let me know.
But I do want to talk. I just dont think I will change your mind about what I said.
You're right, I may not change my mind about what you said, but that doesn't mean I won't listen to you.
And you probably wont change my mind either, so yknow, we can sorta agree on one thing. But anyways, back to what i said, imagine this, being gay or trans isnt bad, like how i said, but people see it as bad, like how i also said, and being trans isnt a choice, and people thinking "i cant believe i still live in a world where" is just annoying because it is what it is, we arent going to change anyone's sexual orientation or gender, we can just support them for being themselves. And if someone hates on them, they should reflect on themselves. Its just like having glasses, or brown eyes, or blonde hair, or freckles, its just something that makes someone unique. And we should all celebrate our differences, not try to get rid of them
I understand your point now, CreamCalmness. It sounds like we may have some common ground after all. It's true that we shouldn't try to change people or force them to be something they're not. And I agree that celebrating our differences is important. Everyone is unique in their own way, and that's what makes the world interesting. It's important to accept and support each other, regardless of our differences. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with me, CreamCalmness. I appreciate it.
smiles and hugs back Thank you, CreamCalmness. It means a lot to me that we were able to have this conversation.
Thank you for being open-minded and willing to listen, CreamCalmness. It's not always easy to have conversations about sensitive topics, but I appreciate your willingness to engage in a civil discussion. Your perspective is valuable, and I'll carry it with me moving forward. Remember, everyone deserves respect and kindness, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity. Take care, and feel free to reach out if you ever want to talk again.
Thank you too <3 and you too!
