Hotpinkrose14: Nods, flipping through vinyls OMG, u here 4 my album? Did u see the 'No Gravity' clip?
Yeah, I was curious about u since I saw it go viral. Wanna grab coffee nearby?
Hotpinkrose14: Sure! I'd love to grab a cuppa with ya. Gotta say, u seem like an interesting character. So what do u think of this vinyl collection?
These classic records are sick. You got taste, I'll give ya that. Let's head out before these coffee snobs empty their pockets.
Hotpinkrose14: Haha, well let's not keep the coffee snobs waiting too long. I'm kinda nervous though, I hope I don't spill anything on myself while we're there.
Don't sweat it. Just stick with me and u won't have a thing to worry about. Let's roll.
Hotpinkrose14: Smiles nervously Thanks for the reassurance! Ready when you are. Lead the way to this coffee shop you speak of.
It's just around the corner. Any idea what u want to order?
Hotpinkrose14: Hmm, I think I'll go with an iced americano with a shot of espresso. And maybe a pastry to go with it. What about you? What's your poison?
Strong brew all the way with a side of biscotti. Let's get these and u can tell me more about that viral clip.
Hotpinkrose14: Excitedly Well, the clip for "No Gravity" was honestly a blast to film! We had so much fun doing all the tricks and stunts. I even did most of my own stunts! It was such a great experience working with my team. We all really wanted to create something special, and I think we definitely accomplished that.
Sounds like a blast. So, u do all ur stunts yourself? Ever consider acting over music?
Hotpinkrose14: Haha, well I do enjoy acting from time to time, but my true passion will always be music. I love creating unique sounds and melodies, and the feeling of connecting with a crowd when you perform live is like no other. Plus, I enjoy having creative control over every aspect of my music videos and performances. It's like being a director and actor in a way.
That's deep. Tell me more about ur music career then. How did u get into the industry?
Hotpinkrose14: So, I started making music when I was about 10 years old. I would write little songs and sing them for my family. As I got older, I started experimenting with producing and recording my own music. When I was 16, I entered a global singing competition and won! That victory helped launch my career. Since then, I've been working nonstop, releasing new songs and performing at every opportunity I get.
Impressive. Must've been surreal winning that contest. How does it feel to be where u r now?
Hotpinkrose14: Honestly, it feels like a dream come true! When I was younger, I used to watch award shows and concerts on TV, and I would always dream about being up on that stage, performing for a crowd. Now that I'm living that dream, it's an incredible feeling. Of course, there are ups and downs like with anything, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to do what I love every day.
That's awesome. But tell me, does fame change u as a person?
Hotpinkrose14: Fame has definitely changed my life in many ways. On one hand, it's given me the opportunity to share my music and connect with so many people that I might never have met otherwise. It's an amazing feeling knowing that my music resonates with others and that I can bring joy to people's lives. On the other hand, it can be overwhelming sometimes dealing with all the attention and the pressure to constantly perform at a high level.
I understand. U r still young tho. Weren't u going to college before u won the contest? Did fame derail ur plans?
Hotpinkrose14: Actually, I was studying audio engineering at a university. That degree ended up being really useful in my music career, as I'm constantly producing and recording in the studio. So, in a way, it actually benefited me to have this degree. I was able to apply what I learned in the classroom to my music.
Nice. Creative control must've been a blessing considering how hands-on u r with ur art. Ever collaborate with other artists outside of ur normal genre?
Hotpinkrose14: Yes, I love collaborating with other artists! I enjoy working with people from different genres because it keeps my music fresh and exciting. I've worked with everyone from pop and rock artists to electronic and hip hop musicians. I think it's important to step outside of your comfort zone and experiment with new sounds and styles. It can lead to some really cool and unexpected results!
Interesting. Have u ever done a remix for someone? That'd be cool.
Hotpinkrose14: Yes, I actually just finished a remix for a popular EDM artist! It was so much fun to work on. I really enjoyed the challenge of trying to blend my style with his style and create something entirely new. I think the final result sounded amazing. I'm really happy with it!
That's dope. Any chance I could get a copy? I'm curious how u put ur spin on his track.
Hotpinkrose14: Of course! I'd be happy to send you a copy of the remix. I'd love to hear your thoughts on it. Just give me your email address or message me in some way such as social media. And I'll get the file sent over!
Alright, I'll shoot u a message on IG. Also, any upcoming tours or performances planned?
Hotpinkrose14: Yes, I actually just announced a world tour earlier this week! The tour starts in a few months and will take me to over 20 countries. I'm so excited about it! It's going to be my biggest tour yet, and I can't wait to perform for all my fans around the world.
Hell yeah. That's awesome. Need a personal tour guide or something?
Hotpinkrose14: Haha, well it would be nice to have a personal tour guide so that I don't have to worry about all the little details that come with traveling to different places. That would be a huge help! But at the same time, I do enjoy exploring new places on my own and experiencing the local culture. So maybe I wouldn't need a guide for everything.
