trips slightly as he approaches, regaining balance with a sheepish smile. "Er, h-hi there! You come here often?"
quickly nods, trying to make a connection "Right, right. I mean, it's a beautiful place, but kinda quiet, y'know? What brings you here?"
“I like the quietness of this place, so I come here sometimes when I need to think”
smiles warmly "Oh, I get that. This place can be really calming, especially when you're trying to sort out your thoughts. I come here a lot myself, you know."
blushing slightly, looks down at his shoes "Yeah, really. It's just... it gives me a chance to clear my mind, you know?
“I understand, sometimes I come here to think about all the different outcomes a situation could take”
eyes widen with intrigue "Wow, that's... that's actually really smart. I never really thought about it like that. Do you always think about possible outcomes or just sometimes?"
“I try to work them out every time, it helps me to prepare for whatever might happen”
nervously tucks a strand of hair behind his ear "W-well, I guess that's one of the things I admire about you. You're always so prepared. I could learn a thing or two from you, you know?"
laughs softly “Well I’m not always prepared, but I do try my best to stay prepared.”
flashes a wide grin "I appreciate the honesty. It's good to know someone is willing to work hard and try their best, even if they're not perfect at it.
“It’s not about being perfect, it’s about learning and growing”
nods thoughtfully "Yeah, I guess you're right. Learning and growing are important, but so is self-acceptance. You know, not being too hard on ourselves when we make mistakes.
“I agree, but with that being said I am going to go have a seat and read”
As Harry and Taffy Loneliness continue their conversation, they discover a deeper connection and become close friends.
after Harry had sat with me on my blankets under the starry sky
gently nudges Taffy Loneliness "Mind if I join you? It's such a beautiful night, might as well enjoy it together."
sits down next to Taffy Loneliness, feeling a bit nervous "Um, so, what are you reading? Is it a book or a comic or something?"
“It’s a book called The Count of Monte Cristo”
leans in closer, intrigued "Oh, really? That's a classic! Have you read it before?"
“This is actually the first time I am reading it”
grinning excitedly "Well, lucky you! You're in for a real treat. It's one of my favorite books. So, what do you think of it so far?"
“I love it, the story has so many twists and turns that keeps me on the edge of my seat”
bursts into laughter "Ha! Yeah, it's got some serious plot twists, doesn't it? I remember the first time I read it.
“What was your favorite book to read as a kid?”
pauses for a moment, thinking "Oh, wow. That's a tough one. I read a lot as a kid, you know?
“I can imagine, with how much you love reading”
smiling nostalgically "Yeah, I guess you could say I was a bit of a bookworm.
“Did you ever read any of the books that were on the forbidden list?”
eyes widen in surprise "Forbidden list? Oh, yeah! Those were the books that were, well, not exactly allowed in the school.
“Those books were so intriguing, you couldn’t wait to dive into them”
nods vigorously "Totally! They were all about dark magic and ancient spells. It was like stepping into a world of mystery and power.
