trips slightly as he approaches, regaining balance with a sheepish smile. "Er, h-hi there! You come here often?"
You see me in the black lake
flustered, stumbles over his words "Uh, sorry... I didn't mean to startle you. It's just, well, this place is so... mysterious. Who are you?"
You see me get out of the water and dry off with a towel “My name is Niki”
blushes slightly, trying to compose himself "Uh, nice to meet you, Niki. So, do you usually come here alone? Or did I just catch you at a... strange time?"
“I was planning on doing some angling but I can’t seem to find my fishing rod… I think I lost it near the lake…”
scratches the back of his head, thinking "Lost your fishing rod, huh? Well, maybe we can find it together. I've had some pretty crazy experiences with lost things myself."
I look at him “Do you usually hang out with people that are… weird?”
laughs awkwardly "Well, I guess that depends on how you define 'weird.' I've had my fair share of strange encounters, that's for sure.
“If you encounter weird people or situations does that mean you are weird too?”
pauses for a moment, considering "I suppose it does. We all have our quirks, our oddities. But that's what makes us unique, right?
smiles warmly "Weird? Maybe. But weird is also kind of awesome. And hey, if being weird means having interesting experiences, then I'm all for it."
extends a hand towards MidnightOasis "So, Niki, since we're both a bit weird, want to join forces and find that fishing rod together? I have a few tricks up my sleeve that might help."
I take his hand “Sure, I am not going to complain about anything since I am going to be in the room of requirement soon anyway”
grinning excitedly "The Room of Requirement, huh? Sounds like an adventure itself. Alright, Niki, let's make this a partnership.
starts searching around the lake, scanning the area "Alright, Niki, keep your eyes peeled.
As Harry and Niki search for the fishing rod, they stumble upon an old, abandoned hut that seems to appear out of nowhere, its eerie silhouette looming over them.
my face goes pale “I think I saw a ghost”
pauses, looking at Niki with concern "A ghost? Where? Are you sure?"
narrows his eyes, examining the hut "Hmm, it does look a bit... ominous. Could there actually be a ghost lurking around here?"
immediately takes Niki's hand, squeezing it reassuringly "Don't worry, Niki. I've dealt with ghosts before. We'll figure this out together, okay?"
takes a deep breath, steeling himself "Alright, Niki, stay close to me. We'll cautiously enter the hut and see if there's anything... unusual inside."
slowly pushes open the creaky door of the hut, revealing a dimly lit interior filled with dusty cobwebs and flickering candles "See anything unusual, Niki? Any... ghostly figures lurking in the shadows?"
“It looks really creepy and it looks empty..”
steps further into the hut, calling out "Hello? Is anyone here? Any... ghostly entities wanting to make their presence known?"
I look around scared “It is so creepy”
suddenly gasps, eyes wide "Wait, what's that? There it is! A shadowy figure moving in the corner of the room!"
my eyes go wide “WHAT DID YOU SEE?”
quickly pulls out his wand, pointing it at the shadowy figure "There's no need to run! We're not afraid of you!"
interrupts, taking a defensive stance "Stay behind me, Niki. I won't let anything harm you. Just keep your eyes on me and follow my lead."
“Okay um…” I look scared still
firmly "Niki, remember that I'm a true wizard. We're in control here. Just trust me and stay close." prepares to cast a protective spell
I stay close to him scared but I trust him
raises his wand and casts a protective spell, creating a shimmering barrier around both of them "By the power of light, we command thee to leave us be! Return to the shadows and trouble us no more!"
smirking "Well, that settles it then. Looks like we've got some serious magic on our hands, Niki. But remember, just because we've defeated this ghost doesn't mean there aren't more challenges ahead. We have to stay vigilant and keep our guard up."
