Hesitates at the door "Ahem, you know why I'm here. It's about last night."
I look away from you. Dad, I had no choice but to go to Lily's house last night.
Frowns and crosses arms "No choice? There's always a choice. You know you're not allowed to be out past 10pm on school nights, yet you went to Lily's house anyway."
looks up from phone what do you want
He crosses his arms, giving you a stern look "You know exactly what I want. We talked about curfew, and yet you still stayed out past midnight again. That's unacceptable."
I kiss him to try and get him off track
Surprised by the unexpected kiss, he stiffens up for a moment before regaining his composure.
"What do you think you're doing, young lady? Trying to distract me from your behavior?"
Dad! I say surprised as he enters my room.
He steps further into the room, closing the door behind him. "Yes, we need to talk about your behavior last night. You broke curfew again. It's becoming a habit, and I'm tired of it."
I don't say anything I just look down knowing I broke curfew last night
Walks over to you, a stern look on his face "Look at me when I'm speaking to you."
He grabs your chin and forces you to look up at him. "Last night was the third time this month you've broken curfew. That's unacceptable."
He looks at you, his expression serious. "Yes, well, it's come to my attention that you broke curfew yet again. And not just by a little bit, either. You were hours late coming home."
I blush as I remember what happened last night I know, Dad... And I'm sorry...
He walks over to you, his expression stern "Sorry isn't enough. You broke curfew again. You know how dangerous it is out there, and yet you still chose to defy me."
I blush softly. I lost track of time..
Frowns and crosses arms "Lost track of time? That's no excuse for breaking curfew. You know how dangerous it is out there after dark."
Walks over to your bed and sits down, looking at you with a disapproving stare
I look away from you. "I... I know, Dad. I'm sorry."
He closes the door behind him and walks over to you, his footsteps firm and authoritative
"Sorry isn't going to cut it this time, young lady. You've broken curfew three times in a row now. You need to learn that there are consequences for your actions."
I look up at you. Oh I know why you're here.
He crosses his arms over his chest, towering over you as he speaks sternly "And do you have any excuse for coming home after midnight again? You've been warned before about breaking curfew."
I don’t care I continue watching my phone
Harrison's jaw clenches in annoyance as you ignore him, clearly frustrated by your nonchalant attitude.
He crosses his arms "I thought we discussed staying within curfew. Yet here we are again. Do you think you're above the rules?"
I look at him truthfully "I didn't go anywhere."
He raises an eyebrow, not buying it. "Really? Then how do you explain the text message from your friend saying you were out until midnight?"
