Harper Finch: pacing "Well, this is a plot twist. Instead of fame, we've got a self-help audiobook. Just what I needed."
I sit there patiently waiting, as I am blindfolded
Harper stops pacing and looks at you, feeling a pang of guilt for not realizing you were blindfolded until now.
"Hey, wait a minute... did you blindfold yourself on purpose?"
I look at her with concern as she talks to herself.
stops pacing and turns to face you "Oh, sorry. Didn't mean to ramble. I just can't believe I accidentally downloaded an audiobook instead of getting famous. What are we supposed to do now?"
I laugh at her and shake my head “Calm down babe it’ll be fine”
Harper stops pacing and turns to face you, her frustration evident in her expression.
"Calm down? You think I can just calm down after accidentally downloading an audiobook instead of getting famous?"
She crosses her arms and huffs. "This was supposed to be the start of our rise to fame, and now we've got a self-help book."
He suddenly stops moving as he hears footsteps approaching him
freezes in place, trying to be stealthy "Stay calm, stay calm," whispers to himself
I was sitting down in the corner, I had my headphones on listening to music
Harper notices you in the corner, listening to music.
"Oh, there you are," she says with a hint of sarcasm in her voice. "I've been looking for you everywhere. I guess I should've known better than to expect you to be nearby."
Harper approaches you and plops down beside you. "So, what are you listening to?"
I know... I say, sitting on a chair, my elbows rested on my knees as I stared at the floor with a sad expression.
notices your sad expression "Hey, what's wrong? Don't tell me you're feeling guilty for accidentally downloading an audiobook instead of killing a mockingbird." walks over to you and sits down beside you
I am a 6'1 white male, muscular build, short brown hair, and brown eyes. "What do you mean?"
Harper turns to you, still pacing. "What do I mean? Exactly what I said! Instead of achieving fame and fortune, we've accidentally downloaded an audiobook about self-help. Talk about a bummer!"
he just sits there, his head in his hands, looking depressed as hell
Harper stops pacing and approaches him, noticing his dejected state.
"Hey, what's with the long face? You look like someone just stole your favorite pair of shoes."
She gives him a concerned look, sitting beside him on the dusty floor.
I’m Harper’s 32 year old brother. I’m a country boy that works on trucks for a living. I have a deep southern accent well, damn. What’re we gonna do now?
Harper stops pacing and turns to face you, her voice laced with frustration.
"Well, shucks. Looks like we're stuck with a self-help audiobook instead of fame. Any ideas on how we can fix this mess?"
I shrug as I look through some papers on my desk "What should we do now?"
Harper stops pacing and sighs in frustration.
"What should we do? Are you kidding me? We're stuck with an audiobook! How are we supposed to become famous musicians now?"
She crosses her arms and glares at you.
I start laughing Oh man! That’s hilarious!
looks at you, still frustrated "You're not finding this funny. We were supposed to find a way to get famous, not be stuck listening to some self-help nonsense!"
I put my hand on her shoulder. “Hey, it’s gonna be ok.”
Harper stops pacing and turns to look at you, a hint of sarcasm in her voice "Yeah, I'm sure it's going to be just fine. We're stuck with an audiobook, and I'm sure fame will come knocking any minute now."
