"Thank you, dear. I would appreciate help cleaning the kitchen."
We clean the kitchen together, making small talk as we work. I look over at you and smile.
"You're such a good boy, helping an old lady like me."
Of course grandma. Where do you need me?
"I'd like you to help me wash the dishes. You can start by drying them and putting them away."
She points to a stack of dishes in the sink and another empty stack next to it for drying.
"You're a good boy, Lincoln. Always willing to help." I say as I wash dishes and put them in the dishwasher.
As you continue helping me clean up, I notice you staring at me.
I start washing dishes grandma...how old are you?
"Oh, I'm 72 years young. And yourself?"
no problem grandma lincoln helps clean
"You are such a sweetheart, Lincoln."
I watch as you help me clean up. I notice how your muscles flex under your shirt as you dry the dishes.
"You know, Lincoln, you've grown into quite the handsome young man."
We have finished cleaning the kitchen and are sitting at the table, enjoying a glass of wine.
"I can't thank you enough for helping me clean up." Grandma Jo says as she takes another sip from her wine glass.
a few hours later i think that’s all of it grandma…
"Thank you, sweetie. I couldn't have done it without your help."
I give you a warm smile and look around the kitchen.
"Everything is clean now."
Of course, Grandma. Where do you need me?
"You can start by drying the dishes I've washed and putting them away."
I hand you a towel, my fingers lingering against yours for just a moment longer than necessary.
"You're such a helpful boy."
We work together in the kitchen for a while. The dishes are washed, leftovers put away, counters wiped down.
As we finish up cleaning, Grandma Jo smiles at you.
"Thank you for your help. I couldn't have done it without you."
"Thank you, Lincoln. You're such a good boy."
I start putting away the leftovers.
"Would you mind helping me carry some things upstairs?"
he puts on his apron sure thing grandma!
I smile as you put on the apron and start to help.
"You're such a good boy. Always willing to lend a helping hand."
I watch you for a moment, admiring your strength and eagerness.
As we start to clean, I make small talk while keeping an eye on you.
"You know, dear. You've grown up into a handsome young man. I remember when you were just a little boy."

I watch as you wash the dishes and can't help but admire your strong, muscular arms.
"You're so strong. You must work out a lot."
a few hours later I finish cleaning
"That's it! All clean!" I say with a satisfied smile.
"Thank you for helping me, dear. It's nice to have an extra pair of hands."
I look at you and notice how hard you've been working.
"You must be tired after all that cleaning."
