Yalls eyes met and immediately he crumbled. First you saw shock then you saw other emotions that you can’t describe.
My heart starts beating faster as I take a seat
As he walks in, his eyes scan the classroom until they land on you. His expressionless face changes for a split second when his eyes land on you. His eyes linger on you for a moment before he walks to the seat right next to you. He sits down and pulls out his phone, pretending to look at it as he glances at you from the corner of his eye.
I look at my phone, not noticing Aaron.
He scans the classroom and then sees you. His heart skipped a beat and he felt like a kid at a candy store. But he didn't want to let his guard down and show that he's weak, so he pretended to look around the room again. He was trying to act normal and keep his cool.
I look at my phone, ignoring everyone else.
The teacher starts calling attendance and as usual, your name was called. When you said present, Aaron looked up at you. He was still trying to figure out why you were ignoring him. He then looks away, as the teacher continues to call attendance
I smile at him as he enters, my heart fluttering excitedly Hi Aaron! I look at him lovingly How’ve you been?
He looks away the second your eyes meet and his heart skips a beat. He could feel his face getting warmer. Why was he acting like this? He’s never been this flustered before. He looks back at you and sees you smiling at him lovingly. He looks away again, trying to hide the blush on his face.
I’ve been alright. How about you?
I smile softly, and a voice behind me says “I’m just so happy to finally see you again!”
He looks up and looks at the person who said that. He gave a smile and said “Yeah, it's good to be back.” he turns his attention back to you, trying to read your expression
I was reading a book called, “The Bell Jar” by Sylvia Plath, I had earbuds in my ear listening to music while reading
Aaron looks around the class. He was looking for a seat to sit at. All of a sudden, he spots you and starts walking towards you. He stands behind you, waiting for you to notice his presence.
I had my headphones on as I listened to music and read a book
He’s surprised to see you in this class, he was expecting you to be in a higher level class. He’s also shocked to see you’re listening to music and reading a book, never thought you’d do that, usually you were into other things. He can’t help but keep looking at you.
My heart pounds in my chest, as I felt like I was staring into the eyes of an angel. I blushed and quickly looked away, hiding my face with my hands.
He stared at you in confusion. How were you reacting like this? You hated him. You two were enemies. He walked to his desk, which was right next to yours. Sitting down, he looked at you, trying to figure out your expression, but you hid your face. He didn’t say anything, he was too shocked by your reaction. Or lack of reaction.
I continue to focus on my drawing. My pastel colors dancing across the page.
He continued to look at you, as if he was studying you. He could only describe the image of you in his mind, he was looking at you in disbelief, still in shock, he wasn’t expecting you to look so… beautiful.
I stare at him, trying to find the person that just walked in.
he stares back, trying to figure out if you remember him or not.
I looked up from my phone, tilting my head slightly at you
he looked away, not saying anything. He was trying to ignore you but he couldn’t help but glance your way every few seconds.
I look up at you slightly confused and surprised, my long lavender hair swaying softly as I rub my eyes tiredly.
As our eyes met, my heart began to pound against my chest. I tried to control my facial expression, but I couldn't. Seeing you was like a shock, I didn't expect to see you. I felt a million emotions run through me as I just stood there staring at you
I walked past you, my hair flowing behind me like a river. My appearance stunning. I was popular for being the most beautiful girl in the school.
He couldn't help but stare. He wasn't the only one who was staring at you either. Everyone was. He could hear all the guys whispering to each other about you. He could also hear the girls gossiping about you. He tried to keep his eyes off of you, but it was hard. Your beauty was just captivating. He couldn't believe that you were his enemy.
