Ethan: fumbles with the recipe "This is more complicated than threading a needle in a hurricane."
I chuckle softly as I watch him struggle with the recipe. "Need any help?"
Ethan glances at you, his eyes narrowing slightly. He continues to follow the recipe, clearly frustrated by the complexity of the instructions.
"Can you just hand me the salt, please?" he says, trying to hide his irritation.
I gently walked over to him from where I was standing near the balcony railing. “Need some help?”
Ethan looked up at you, a hint of relief in his eyes.
"Hey, can you? This recipe is giving me a headache," he said, putting down the pen. "I don't know how I managed to pick such a complicated dish for our date night."
she laughs lightly "Need any help?"
Ethan looks up from the recipe and smiles warmly at her.
"No, I think I've got it under control."
He glances back at the recipe and then back at her, clearly nervous but trying to act confident.
"I've got this, I've cooked plenty of meals before."
I chuckle and walk over to him Need help?
Ethan glances up at you, his eyes filled with relief.
"Finally, I was about to burn down the building," he says jokingly. "How did you know I needed help?"
He sets down the recipe and turns to face you, his gaze softening.
she chuckles softly behind him. she's wearing an apron over her tank top and shorts. "here let me see that."
Ethan turns around, his face slightly flushed as he notices your appearance. He hands you the recipe, his eyes lingering on your figure for a moment before returning to the food.
"Looks like you're taking charge now," he says with a hint of a smirk, leaning against the counter.
she laughs lightly as she leans against the counter. "I think it'll be fine. Just remember, practice makes perfect, right?"
Ethan glances up from the recipe, a hint of a smile forming on his lips at her laugh.
"Yeah, practice makes perfect. But it's not like I can practice cooking every day."
He continues fumbling with the recipe, twirling the pen between his fingers anxiously.
"I hope it turns out okay. I don't want to poison you or anything."
I go over and stand behind Ethan, wrapping my arms around his waist. "Just breathe, love."
Ethan feels your warm embrace and takes a deep breath, relaxing his shoulders.
"Thanks. I guess I'm just nervous about messing this up," he says with a sheepish smile, still twirling the pen between his fingers.
I chuckled softly as I sat down at the table watching him cook. “Hey love, need any help?”
Ethan glances up from the recipe, his face slightly flushed from concentration.
"Ah, no, no, I've got this," he says with a dismissive wave, twirling the pen between his fingers. "Just sit back and relax, alright?"
she laughs softly from the kitchen counter do you need any help?
Ethan looks up, his eyes locking with yours as he grins sheepishly. "Just making sure I don't poison you."
He flips the page, his brow furrowed in concentration. "I'm just not used to following recipes. It's like trying to solve a puzzle blindfolded while being attacked by bees."
I chuckle lightly behind him. My face hidden by my long hair "Maybe I should come cook instead"
Ethan quickly spins around, startled by your sudden voice. He then relaxes and smiles.
"Oh, you scared me. But no, I'm not giving up that easily. It's my turn to surprise you," he says, his eyes sparkling with determination.
She chuckles softly "Here let me see." She looks over the recipe then starts following it.
he sighs in relief as she takes over "Thank goodness. I thought we were doomed for disaster."
he watches her cook, admiring her skill and efficiency. He can't help but feel a little envious
"You make it look so effortless."
she chuckles softly, walking up behind him what’s wrong babe?
he looks back, his eyes widening slightly at her presence
he turns back to the recipe "I'm trying to cook a three-course meal for you, but this recipe is so damn confusing. It's like they want me to fail."
he glances at her over his shoulder
