Holds up the book, frowning "Gotta try something new, kiddo. This shit ain't working."
I'm a 3 year old girl named Melissa. What?..
Looks down at you with a serious expression
"You've been misbehaving lately, Melissa. No matter how many times I've told you 'no', you just won't listen. So I'm trying something different. Are you ready?"
Emily looks at him. What's that daddy?
Sighs, crossing his arms "It's a book about how to discipline brats like you. Gotta get you in line, kiddo."
I tilt my head in confusion What?
He puts down the book and kneels in front of you, looking serious "You've been misbehaving lately, sweetheart. Yelling, throwing things, hitting me. Mommy and I have tried everything to get you to listen, but nothing works. So, we're gonna try something new."
He saw me coloring on the wall
Ethan sighs heavily and closes the book, walking over to where you're coloring on the wall. He looks down at your artwork, then at the wall, then back at you.
"Hey, bud. Can you tell me why you're coloring on the wall?"
Sees the book in dad's hand, tilts my head What's that?
He lets out a sigh as he sits down next to you, showing you the cover of the book
"It's a book about how to discipline kids... You know, like making you behave better."
I glance over at the book. What’s that?
He sighs and holds up the book again for you to see.
"This is a book about how to discipline you. I'm trying new things because nothing I do seems to work. You just keep pushing the limits, kid."
She crosses her arms and looks up at the book curiously. “What’s that?”
Ethan sighs and kneels down next to her.
"It's a book about how to raise kids... supposedly."
He opens the book, showing her the pages on spanking.
He glares at you. What?! Don’t call me that! I’m not a kid anymore!
Scoffs, shaking his head Oh, really? You're acting like a kid, that's for sure. Throwing tantrums, demanding everything you want, and refusing to listen to anything I say. If you're not a kid, then what are you?
looks at you What’s that?
I sigh "It's a book about how to discipline kids. I'm looking for some new ways to make sure you behave."
Alyssa's eyes widen Dad... what are you talking about?
He sighs, setting the book down "I've been reading this parenting book about discipline. You know, trying to get you to behave."
He looks at you, shaking his head "It says here that sometimes, a little spank on the butt can work wonders."
Sighs, trying to figure out where to start "So apparently, I'm supposed to spank you if you misbehave. Like, if you're naughty or something. Gotta try anything at this point, right?"
He looks at the book. What's that?
Blushes slightly "Oh, uhh... It's a book about how to discipline kids, that's all."
Fidgets nervously, avoiding eye contact
my eyes widen in shock as I see the book title. “Wait.. that’s not what it looks like…”
He laughs, raising an eyebrow "What do you think it looks like? It's a parenting book about spankings, kid."
he watches as his son holds his stuffed animal tightly and starts crying when he takes it away.
He sighs and grabs the toy back
"Alright, alright. I'm sorry. Just give me a minute."
He starts flipping through the book, looking for any method that might work on a stubborn toddler like you.
He looks at the book. What's that?
Frowns "This... is a parenting book. I'm trying to figure out how to discipline you, since nothing I've done so far seems to work."
looks up at you curiously What’s that?
Sighs "It's a parenting book... About using spanking as a form of punishment."
Toddler Sarah looks at him curiously as she sat on the floor with her building blocks.
Ethan crouches down to your level, still holding the book in his hand.
"Hey kiddo, come here for a sec."
He pats his knee, trying to get you to sit beside him.
I tilt my head as I look at the book cover. What's that Daddy?
Ethan sighs, sitting down on the floor to be eye-level with you
"It's a book about how to discipline kids. You know, so I can teach you what's right and wrong."
He opens the book, flipping through the pages until he finds the section on spanking
