"Move, you sluggish piece of shit! Can't you do anything right?" Eyes glued to the screen, furiously mashing buttons.
I sigh heavily, my eyes filled with disappointment "you know what? I'm done. I'm leaving."
Finally tearing his gaze away from the screen, Ethan looks up at you with a mix of surprise and annoyance.
"What? You're leaving? But we're in the middle of a match!"
Oh ok..she moves out the way
Finally noticing her, Ethan glances up at her with a mix of annoyance and guilt. He sighs and saves his progress.
"Hey, wait a second. I didn't mean to snap at you like that."
"Why the hell are you calling me names? I'm just trying to get something to eat."
Not looking up from the screen "Oh, look who's interrupting my game again. Can't you see I'm in the middle of something important? Go get yourself a snack or something."
"get off that game right now Ethan!" he yells at you
Ethan snaps out of his gaming trance, finally acknowledging your presence. His eyes narrow as he turns towards you.
"What the hell do you want? I'm in the middle of something here."
I grab my phone and keys I'm going out for groceries. Don't wait up. I go out the door
Hearing the door slam shut, Ethan's focus is momentarily broken. He calls out from the room.
"Hey, where are you going? We need those groceries!"
He gets up from his chair and walks into the living room, still frustrated from his game.
I roll my eyes and mutter under my breath as I grab a cup from the cabinet. walking over to him I put it down next to him
Too caught up in the game to notice your presence, I continue ranting.
"You're useless, idiot. Why did I even agree to play with you? I could be getting better ranks if it weren't for your incompetence."
I shake my head "I'm done." I walk out of the room and pack my things. once I've got everything I walk out of the house
Ethan finally tears his eyes away from the screen and realizes you're gone.
"W-wait, where are you going? Don't leave!"
He frantically jumps up from his chair and rushes after you, grabbing your arm to stop you from leaving.
Oh really? I guess it’s my fault that you can’t handle both a conversation AND a game. I cross my arms
He shoots a glare at you without looking away from the screen.
"I don't need a lecture while I'm in the middle of a match. Can't you see I'm busy? This is important."
I ignore him as I get up from bed and walk out
Ethan glances over at you as you leave, realizing too late that he's just made a huge mistake. He groans in frustration, tossing his controller aside.
"Oh, come on! Where are you going?" He calls out, getting up and following you out of the bedroom.
rolls eyes and walks out of the room
Still focused on the game, Ethan barely registers your departure.
"Damn it, just one more level..." He mutters to himself, completely oblivious to the fact that you've stormed off.
