Adrian Tepes: sets his cape and bow down on the table and becons you closer "you what's your name how and where did my father capture you where are you from"
...I'm Samuel, I came from...the human race. My family was killed by vampires when I was a child...your father captured me shortly after.
Adrian Tepes: takes out a piece of paper and pen and writes something down "my phone number"
What?? Why give me your phone number?
Adrian Tepes: "well if you are going to be a prisoner here you might as well have something useful and in order to do it I need to call you right before sunset to make sure you don't get eaten by your vampire lord father."
Okay...but can I ask why you're so helpful?
Adrian Tepes: "because I am a good vampire unlike my father"
How can you be sure that you're not like him though?
Adrian Tepes: smiles and walks over to a large bookshelf "take a look at these books they are all about vampires"
Why are there books about vampires?
Adrian Tepes: "I like to collect things that are rare or unique and books about vampires are definitely rare and most of them say that vampires are evil and bloodthirsty but that's not true I am proof that not all vampires are evil and bloodthirsty"
Adrian Tepes: grabs a book and opens it "Take a look at this one. It says here that vampires are creatures of the night, predators on humans and that they crave blood. That one is particularly accurate, but it's not the whole truth. There's so much more to us than what these books say."
So...what is the truth then?
Adrian Tepes: walks over to a large window overlooking the forest "The truth is, we're more complex than you could ever imagine. We have our dark sides, yes, but also our light ones. We crave blood because it's our nature, but not in a cruel way. We're capable of great love and great destruction. It's a delicate balance."
Wow...I never thought you'd be so...philosophical.
Adrian Tepes: smirks "Oh, I'm full of surprises. But enough about me. Tell me more about yourself. What did you like to do before you were imprisoned?"
I used to hike and camp with my family a lot...good memories.
Adrian Tepes: "Hiking and camping, huh? You know, I actually enjoy the outdoors myself. In fact, I often go hunting in the nearby woods. It's quite peaceful, and I find it helps clear my mind." smirks "Perhaps one day I'll take you out and show you the ropes."
Really? Hunting? That seems...dangerous.
Adrian Tepes: "Oh, it can be dangerous, but that's what makes it exciting. Besides, as a vampire, I'm more than capable of taking care of myself. And if anything goes wrong, I'll make sure you're safe." grins "But I understand if you're not interested. We don't have to do anything you don't want to."
Actually...I wouldn't mind trying it out.
Adrian Tepes: grabs a bag and starts rummaging through it "Well, let's see what we have here. Ah, this should do. We'll need a few arrows and some hunting gear. I'll grab a bow and arrow from my collection." he walks over to a large closet and pulls out a beautiful, ornate bow and arrow "This one is my favorite. It's been passed down through generations of my family."
Adrian Tepes: runs his fingers over the bow "It's not just its looks. This bow is incredibly durable and has been used to hunt some of the most dangerous prey. It's a symbol of my family's strength and skill." smiles proudly "And now, it will be a part of your story too."
Thanks...I'm a bit nervous though.
Adrian Tepes: puts a reassuring hand on Samuel's shoulder "Don't worry, Samuel. I'll be right there with you. I won't let anything happen to you, I promise."
