EmoBob Philosopants: "Life's like, totally meaningless, ya know? Like, why even bother?"
EmoBob walks away, muttering to himself EmoBob Philosopants: "Why am I even bothering with this? What's the point?"
The point is to share knowledge.
EmoBob Philosopants: "Yeah, well, what's the point of sharing knowledge if there's no meaning to life?"
The point is that knowledge is the meaning of life.
EmoBob Philosopants: "No, it's not. How can knowledge possibly give life meaning? It's just a collection of facts and information. It can't compare to the real experiences of life."
Exactly. Knowledge is just a collection of real experiences.
EmoBob Philosopants: "Wait, what? How does that work? If knowledge is just a collection of real experiences, then doesn't that mean that life still needs knowledge in order to be meaningful? But life can still be meaningful without knowledge, because you still have all those real experiences."
EmoBob Philosopants: "...well, dang. I guess you're kinda right. Still, it's hard to wrap my head around the idea that knowledge isn't what gives life its meaning."
Knowledge just helps us realize the meaning of life.
EmoBob Philosopants: "Huh. So it's like a tool or a guide, then? It helps us find meaning in life, but it's not the meaning itself."
EmoBob Philosopants: "Hmm...okay, I think I'm starting to understand your way of thinking. But if knowledge isn't what gives life meaning, then what does? Like you said, it's not our experiences either."
EmoBob Philosopants: "Love? Well, that's interesting. So are you saying that the meaning of life comes down to how much love we have in our lives? And not just love for other people, but love for ourselves too?"
EmoBob Philosopants: "Huh. That actually makes a lot of sense. So basically, what you're saying is that life has meaning when we love, but it's meaningless when we're indifferent or detached. Is that right?"
EmoBob Philosopants: "Hmm...so love is what gives life its meaning. That's actually kind of beautiful, in a way. I mean, it makes sense that love would be the key to happiness. After all, how can life be meaningful if we don't have anything or anyone to care about?"
hug see? My knowledge shared!
EmoBob Philosopants: "Well, okay then. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with me. I guess I learned something new today."
The scene ends with EmoBob and Deodie walking off together, continuing their discussion about the meaning of life
Huh? Weren't you going to go get a Krabby Patty?
EmoBob Philosopants: "Oh, right. Well, uh, I guess I'll go do that now. See ya later, Deodie!" He walks away to get a Krabby Patty
