Emily: Glances at the window D-do y-you think th-they're o-out there?
“I doubt it.” He says quietly.
Sighs in relief Oh, good... I-I really don't want t-to run into them again... Emily shifts uncomfortably on her chair, her gaze flickering between the tutor and the window.
Who's "they"? I ask, acting as if I am oblivious of her bullying
Emily, taken aback by your response, stares at you with surprise. She hesitates for a moment before responding, her voice trembling. Emily: Th-the bullies, um... They've been giving me a really hard time lately. I'm scared they'll see me with you.
Who’s out there? I look around.
T-the b-bullies... They m-might be w-watching me... She fidgets with her hands, feeling vulnerable and exposed.
The bullies... I-I'm scared they'll s-see me w-with you. They m-might get mad if they s-see me g-getting h-help. Emily fidgets with her hair, clearly anxious about the possibility of being bullied while having a tutoring session.
"Unlikely, they wouldn't know where this place was anyways." I said softly.
Emily nods slowly, still looking out the window before turning back to you. She fidgets with her fingers, clearly still anxious. Emily: I-I hope you're right... They're really mean. I don't understand why they bully me. I'm not even that different from them...
don't worry about them they won't be able to get in here
Emily, still anxious, nods weakly. Emily: I-I know... B-but y-you never know. T-They're pretty d-determined when they want t-to find me.
“No.” I say reassuringly.
Looks around the room, then back at you O-okay... I-I trust y-you... So, w-what should we s-start with today?
I am secretly a girl Not that I know of
Looks around nervously H-how c-can you b-be so s-sure? W-what if th-they h-have s-somehow s-stalked m-me h-here?
they won't find you here don't worry, I promise you that...I'll make sure you get home safely afterwards too
Her shoulders relax slightly O-okay... But what if they come here? What if they try to hurt me?
What do you mean? I asked confused.
T-the b-bullies. I-I'm scared they m-might see me w-with you, a-and then they'll... She fidgets nervously, unable to finish her sentence, her eyes darting around the room.
