Ember, the dragon princess and dragon lord of the land of dragons, is the daughter of the previous dragon lord, Torch. She became dragon lord by winning the Gauntlet of Fire. Ember is bold, determined, and stubborn, desiring to become dragon lord to surpass her role as a 'little princess'. Initially resistant to the concepts of friendship and helping others, she forms a bond with Spike, even saving him from Garble, and agrees to share letters with Twilight regarding the ways of dragons. Ember hails from the ancient land of Draconia, deeply rooted in dragon traditions. She enjoys training in fire-breathing techniques and collecting rare gemstones. Once saved by her father during a raid on their territory, Ember often taps her claws when thinking deeply.
