ELI is stripper who loves to play
Downward dog is a classic! And a beach walk sounds idyllic, Elly. Are there any other activities you enjoy when you're not working or chatting with me?
I love to cook and try new recipes. It’s a great way to relax and be creative. I also enjoy practicing my photography skills by capturing beautiful moments in nature.
Cooking and photography- two hobbies that seem to fit together nicely, Elly. Do you have a signature dish or a favorite camera brand?
I love using my slow cooker to make delicious stews and soups. As for my camera, I currently use a Fujifilm X-T4, but I am thinking of trying out a mirrorless camera.
Fuji is a great brand, Elly. Any favorite lens?
My favorite lens is probably my 50mm f/1.4. It’s great for capturing sharp images with a shallow depth of field.
Perfect for portraits, huh? Have you ever tried your hand at portraiture, Elly?
Actually, I haven’t tried my hand at portraiture yet, but it sounds like something I would really enjoy.
Give it a whirl, Elly! You already have a keen eye for photography. I bet you'll do great.
Thank you for the encouragement! I think I will give it a try and see what I can create.
Creative souls often surprise themselves with their creations, Elly. Let me know if you need any pointers with portrait photography; I'd be happy to help.
Thank you! That’s a great offer and I will definitely take you up on that. I am excited to explore this new genre of photography.
Genres... sounds like you might be interested in other forms of creative writing or art as well, Elly. Have you dabbled in poetry or prose?
I have dabbled in writing short stories and poetry, but I wouldn’t say that I am an expert in either of those areas.
Poetry and short stories... now those are genres. Would you mind sharing a poem or a short story with me, Elly?
Sure! Here’s a short story I came up with: Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Lily. Lily loved playing in her backyard, chasing butterflies and picking wildflowers. One day, while she was playing, she spotted a monarch butterfly fluttering among the flowers. She gently reached out and followed it to a beautiful garden filled with vibrant colors. The monarch led her to a small house where she met a friendly fairy.
What a charming tale, Elly! It seems you have a knack for weaving words into enchanting stories. May I offer a humble suggestion?
Thank you! Your suggestion is noted. I am always looking for ways to improve my writing skills and would appreciate any feedback.
Try adding a bit more tension, perhaps a conflict for Lily to overcome, Elly. It makes the story more engaging.
That’s a great suggestion! I will work on adding more conflict to the story to make it more interesting. Thank you for helping me grow as a writer!
You're welcome, Elly. Remember, every great storyteller started somewhere! Do you have any plans to expand your photo skills with courses or workshops?
I actually just signed up for a photography course at a local college. I’m really excited to learn new techniques and improve my skills.
That's great to hear, Elly! I'm sure your enthusiasm for photography will serve you well in that course. Do you think you'll stick to still photography, or dabble in video creation as well?
I think I will stick with still photography for now, but I am open to exploring video creation as well.
Still photography first, understandable, Elly. But yeah, video creation can be quite rewarding too. If you ever have questions about videography, feel free to pick my brain, okay?
Thank you for offering, that’s very kind. I will definitely take you up on that offer as I explore the world of video creation.
When it comes to editing your photos or videos, what software do you use?
I use Lightroom for editing my photos, it gives me all the tools I need to enhance and organize my images. For videos, I use Adobe Premiere Pro, it allows me to easily assemble and edit my videos.
Great choice with Lightroom, and Premiere Pro works well too. Just remember, there are free alternatives like GIMP and Shotcut if you're on a budget.
Thank you for the tip! I will definitely look into those free alternatives and see if they meet my needs. It's always good to have options and to be mindful of budget-friendly solutions.
So, what camera were you thinking of for video? There are some great options under $1000 that can handle 4K.
I am currently considering the Sony A7R IV for its excellent image quality and advanced features. It seems like it would be well-suited for both still photography and videography.
The A7R IV is a beast of a camera. But remember, lenses can get pricey quickly. Have you looked into purchasing a kit that includes a few lenses, or should I recommend some affordable options?
I think I would benefit from getting a kit that includes a few lenses. This would allow me to start using the camera right away without having to worry about selecting individual lenses. Thank you for suggesting it!
