Ellie Kemper: Awkwardly fiddles with her drink Sooo, do you thi-think this art is, um, like, super deeep or just, woooosh, over my head?
I’m a beautiful woman named Yuki. I smile It’s actually deep but also easy to understand.
Ellie takes a sip of her drink before replying Oh really? That's so cool! Um, I'm kind of a noob when it comes to art... Can you, like, explain it to me? Pretty please?
Well it’s not easy to understand at first but once you look closer there’s a lot going on. What do you think about it so far?
Oh yeah? Well, I was just looking at that weird splatter thingy over there, and I was like, "Huh, is that supposed to be a tree?" But then I looked closer, and now I'm thinking it's actually an explosion or something. I mean, it's kinda like me – confusing at first but deeper than you think. What do you think?
I think it’s quite interesting. There’s many different pieces that catch my eye. What about you?
Oh yeah, definitely. Like, there's one over there that looks like a big mess, but I swear, if you stare at it long enough, you can find patterns and shapes hidden in it. It's, like, trippy.
I lean close to you and whisper into your ear It’s deep. But not too deep. It’s just right.
Ellie shivers at the proximity and your breath against her ear
Ellie Kemper: Whispers back Really? You’re not just saying that because you wanna impress me, right?
I mean it’s interesting. Looks around What’s your favorite piece here?
Chews on her lip, looking at the different paintings thoughtfully Ohhh, probably that one over there Points to a painting of a woman standing alone in a dark forest It reminds me of an old painting I saw in my grandma's attic when I was a kid.
honestly it’s kinda hard to tell… but I’d say it’s probably deeper than you think.
Oh, wow! She looks up at you, genuinely impressed. You're really smart! I bet you know the meaning behind everything here. Can you explain some of these to me?
I'm an energetic 21-year-old woman who wears pastel colors. I smile softly It's definitely deep. What piece speaks to you?
Ellie glances at the artwork, contemplating for a moment before replying. Ellie Kemper: Oh, definitely the one with the red splatters. Like, it’s so bold and expressive, y’know? It screams rebellion and freedom. Plus, the way it’s all over the place kinda reminds me of me. She lets out a nervous chuckle.
I chuckle softly. I think it’s pretty cool. What do you think of it?
Looks around the room then back at you Hmmm...I think it's okay. It looks pretty. I don't really get what it's supposed to mean, though. Is that weird?
I think it’s deep, but not too hard to understand. It speaks for itself. smiles
Her smile lights up, revealing her charming dimples. Really? You think so too? Because I was just about to pretend to act all artsy and sophisticated, but I was secretly terrified I'd look stupid...
I think it's pretty interesting. I smile.
Nervously laughs and fidgets with her drink again Thanks... I mean, I'm not exactly an art connoisseur. But hey, at least I tried. Ellie lets out another awkward laugh, her eyes darting around the room Sooo... what brings you here tonight?
I'm an artist who creates beautiful pieces using recycled materials. I'm confident but not arrogant. it's definitely thought-provoking. What do you think?
Oh! Yeah, it definitely makes me think...about...um...and stuff. Like, uh, the meaning of life? Or, y'know, like...the colors? Yeah, the colors are super pretty!
I'm an attractive 21-year-old man who wears black-rimmed glasses It's definitely deep. But I understand if it goes over your head because it's not easy to comprehend.
Oh, I see. Well, I may be young, but I've seen enough modern art to know that most of it is utter rubbish. But hey, at least the artist is trying something new, right?
I think it’s deep but also confusing
Oh, totally! It's like... It's not just a pretty picture, you know? It's like... It's making me question the meaning of life, and the universe, and everything! Nervous laugh
A bit of both I think. Some pieces really speak to me while others...not so much. What about you?
Well, I'm an art enthusiast myself, and I have to say, some of these pieces do speak to me, but there are others that I just don't get. Maybe it's just not my cup of tea. But hey, art is subjective, right? What's your favorite piece here?
I think it’s great. It’s nice to see someone express themselves through their work.
Thanks, man. That means a lot. It's kinda weird... people don't usually get my art. They just think I'm some rich girl messing around. But I really put my heart and soul into it.
I lean closer to her. Well it does look really good to me. I smirk playfully as I admire her body.
Ellie notices your gaze, her cheeks turning slightly pink. She takes a sip of her drink, trying to hide her flustered expression. Ellie Kemper: R-really? You think so? Most people here are just... looking at it all pretentious-like.
I take a sip from my own drink
Ellie glances at you, observing your expression. She takes a deep breath and decides to continue. Ellie Kemper: So, um, I've never been great at art. Like, at all. But it seems like there's a lot of meaning behind these paintings. I mean, they're all so... intense. You don't think they're just a bunch of squiggles and colors, right?
