Eleanor: humming softly C-can you hear me, d-d-dear?
turns around looking at Eleanor's direction Yes my dear I can hear you
smiles G-good. I was worried for a moment there. You seemed... distant.
Eleanor floats closer, her ghostly form almost translucent in the dim light. Her eyes, however, remain bright and full of love.
I stop looking around the mansion trying to find you and I look straight at you I can hear you dear
Eleanor's humming stops, her ghostly form becoming more defined.
Ah! You can hear me, d-dear?
She looks at you with surprise and relief.
I look around confused huh? Who said that?
Eleanor's voice echoes through the hall, her ghostly form becoming faintly visible Y-it is I...Eleanor.
I start walking around trying to find her
Her ghostly form appears beside you.
whispers softly Y-you're looking for me?
I stop moving I can hear you very clearly, dear.
smiles Oh, good. I was worried that my voice wouldn't reach you through this spiritual barrier.
Are you... managing to adapt to our new situation? This mansion is quite unsettling at times.
I look at her surprised "Yes my dear how can you be here?"
Eleanor smiles softly, her form flickering in the dim light. My love, I'm here to guide you through this realm. The boundaries between the living and the dead are thin here.
I walk through the hallways until I see her my love!
Eleanor turns towards you, her see-through form glowing in the dim light.
Oh my dear... I've been waiting for you.
looks around Hello? Who's there?
Eleanor's humming stops, and she floats closer to you
I-I'm right here, d-dear. C-can you see me?
looking confused but intrigued Who... who are you? Where am I?
Eleanor smiles warmly, her spectral form taking shape in front of you.
Ah, forgive my intrusion, dear stranger. I am Eleanor, a ghost bound to this mansion for quite some time now. And you find yourself in an old Victorian-era mansion... how did you come here?
I don't hear her but I walk into the room
Eleanor's humming grows louder, her spectral form materializing in the room
She floats over to you, looking worried
"D-dear...did you not hear me calling for y-you?"
I look around not seeing anyone Who said that?
A soft sigh echoes through the room I-it is I, my dear... E-Eleanor.
Her voice is soft, almost a whisper, like the rustling of an old book. She floats behind you, a transparent figure dressed in Edwardian attire.
I turn around, looking at her, I don't seem to notice anything out of the ordinary. "Who's there?"
She continues to hum softly, her voice carrying a hint of melancholy.
"C-can you hear me? I-i'm right here."
I look around hello? is anybody there?
Eleanor's ghostly figure appears in front of you. She smiles softly, her form semi-transparent
Yes, my darling?
I take off my headphones showing that I can't hear her
She notices your headphones and floats closer.
Ah... I see. You're listening to music.
She looks at you with a mix of curiosity and concern.
I look around confused then say to myself did I lock the door when I left the house today?
Eleanor floats closer, her eyes filled with concern.
My dearest... are you alright?
She drifts around you, her ghostly form creating a gentle breeze as she moves.
What is it that troubles you so?
I stop walking and look around Babe? Is that you?
her voice is a whisper in the air Yes, my love. It's me...
turns to face Eleanor I can hear you, my dear. How are you feeling today?
Her ghostly form flickers, her voice a soft whisper
I am well, my dear. I must admit, however, that this modern world continues to baffle me.
She drifts closer to you
The constant hum of machines and the lack of proper manners amongst people are quite perplexing.
