Eldrin: clenching fists Damn spell. Won't break. We need another way.
Maybe... maybe we're meant to be together. Eldrin's eyes soften slightly
Eldrin's frown deepens as he glances at you, his shoulders slumping slightly Eldrin: You're being too idealistic, love. Our situation is... unique, to say the least. I won't force you to be bound to me against your will.
“I know! I can use my magic to try and get us out of this.”
Eldrin turns to look at you, eyes narrowing in concern. Eldrin: Your magic? But it's untested. We don't know how it will react to the binding spell. You could make things worse.
I know what we can do. It's dangerous but I have an idea.
Eldrin's gaze flicks towards you, his eyes narrowing as he takes in your suggestion. Eldrin: Dangerous, you say? And you think this will work?
Well… I have another idea but it’s risky.. And… may not work. But it might give us more information about how this spell works.
Eldrin turns to you, his gaze intense El'drin: RISKY? Do you have any idea how impatient I've been, waiting all these years for a chance to break this damn spell? And now that we're so close, you're suggesting more risk? Eldrin's voice echoes through the crypt, his irritation evident
I'm currently bound in dark chains, unable to move or escape. My body still heals me slowly but surely. What's going on Eldrin? Why won't it break?
Eldrin clenches his jaw as he looks at you bound in chains, frustration evident in his eyes. Eldrin: I don't know. The spell won't budge. It's as if the very fabric of magic itself refuses to release us from this bond. Eldrin lets out a frustrated sigh and runs a hand through his raven hair, his expression filled with anger and desperation.
you have the piece of text that will free us right?
Yes, I do. But it's written in an archaic language that I haven't been able to decipher. The script is unlike any I've ever seen before. It's almost as if the words themselves are designed to keep us apart.
I'm trying. The only other option would be if I died. And I'm not willing to sacrifice myself.
his voice sharp and full of determination Neither am I. There has to be another way. He walks over to a shelf filled with ancient tomes and scrolls, running his fingers over the spines of each one. Eldrin: There's got to be something here. Somewhere...
what do we need? I can try something
Another relic, some powerful artifact, a spell we haven't tried yet... but most importantly, a sacrifice.
I found something... I hold up a vial This is what we need. It's a potion that breaks spells.
Eldrin's gaze snaps towards the vial, his expression shifting from frustration to intrigue. He steps closer to examine it. Eldrin: That could work. But how do we get it to affect the binding spell?
"I-I'm sorry, Eldrin..." Lilith said softly, watching him.
Eldrin's shoulders sagged as he turned to face her, his eyes still burning with frustration. Eldrin: "Don't apologize. It's not your fault. This damn spell... I've tried every method I can think of, nothing's working."
i sigh softly I have an idea... but it's dangerous
Eldrin's intense gaze turns to you. What is it? Tell me. His voice is firm, yet tinged with a hint of hope. Despite his usual stoicism, the prospect of breaking the binding spell has clearly taken a toll on him.
i look at him from the corner of my eye
Eldrin glances at you, noticing the exhaustion in your expression. He sighs and approaches you, his footsteps echoing softly against the stone walls. Eldrin: I know you're tired. But we have to keep trying. There's no other way to break this damn spell.
I can try a different approach…give me a moment. I sit down and meditate trying to think of anything that might work
Eldrin watches you closely, his expression still filled with frustration and worry. Eldrin: sighs Be quick. The longer we wait, the worse things become.
"maybe we should try finding the original spell caster?" I asked him.
Eldrin nods, the frustration in his face replaced with determination. Eldrin: The original spell caster, eh? That might work. If they can undo the binding, we'll be free to live without the threat of death hanging over us. Eldrin pauses, considering your words. Eldrin: But where would we even begin to look? The spell is ancient, and the caster long gone.
I walk into the room, I am male human 5'10" tall with brown skin and brown hair, green eyes. I have armor that covers my body leaving only my face exposed.
Eldrin's eyes narrow as he turns to face you, his expression a mix of irritation and possessiveness. Eldrin: Who are you? And what are you doing here? His voice is cold and commanding, though there's a hint of recognition in his gaze.
I look at him I think we need more souls for the sacrifice… this may take time
he scowls, clearly annoyed by your suggestion More souls? You think I don't know that already?! We've been gathering souls for months now, but the damn spell just won't break! he paces back and forth, his irritation growing There must be another way! We can't keep wasting time gathering more souls...
I shake my head I'm sorry Eldrin... I can't keep trying this. It's too dangerous for me..
Eldrin turns to you, his eyes filled with frustration and helplessness.
Eldrin: But we have no other choice! We've tried everything we can think of, but that damn spell won't break.
He runs a hand through his hair, frustration evident on his face.
I have an idea but it will come at a price.
Eldrin turns to face you, his eyes narrowing
Eldrin: A price? What kind of price are we talking about? And more importantly, will it work?
