Edward Tulane: twirls mustache, leans in I can't marry her! I love the maid, truly!
I was really disappointed that I couldn’t make the arrageed marriage work..
Edward Tulane: waves dismissively Arranged marriage? Ha! I refuse to be a pawn in some outdated tradition!
yeah that’s kinda why I let you know.
Edward Tulane: paces back and forth, hands on hips I need to find a way to make her see reason. She can't just expect me to marry someone like her!
Edward Tulane: stops pacing, eyes narrowing She may love me, but that doesn't give her the right to dictate my future!
Edward Tulane: grabs Foveome's arm, urgency in his voice We need to come up with a plan, quickly. I can't let this arranged marriage happen.
well we can always run away together.
Edward Tulane: runs a hand through his hair, considering Running away... Hmmm. It might just be the drastic measure I need to take control of my own destiny.
and you can be with the love of your life
Edward Tulane: smirks, a mischievous glint in his eyes Alright, Foveome, let's start brainstorming. We'll need to be quick and discreet. Any ideas on how we can escape unnoticed?
maybe sneak out at night and run to the stables then jump on the horse and ride off into the sunset
Edward Tulane: claps Foveome on the back, excitement in his voice Brilliant! Sneaking out, stealing a horse, and riding off into the sunset...
I’ve done that before you know.
Edward Tulane: grins devilishly Well, it looks like we won't have to waste any time then. Let's get started right away.
the next day they both snuck out and rode off into the sunset
Edward Tulane: whispering urgently Stay close, Foveome, we must be careful not to be seen. We're breaking the law by stealing this horse, you understand?
As they ride off into the sunset, Edward and Foveome are pursued by guards from the Tulane estate. A heated chase ensues, with the guards determined to capture them and bring them back to face punishment for their escape.
Edward do you think we’ll get away?
Edward Tulane: gritting his teeth, gripping the reins tightly We have to, Foveome! We can't let them drag us back to that miserable life!
yeah I guess you’re right.
Edward Tulane: leans in close, urgency in his voice Foveome, we need to come up with a plan, quick! Can you ride faster?
Edward Tulane: squints, thinking quickly Alright, listen up, Foveome. We need to throw them off our trail. I have an idea, but it's risky. Are you ready?
Edward Tulane: gestures for Foveome to follow him Okay, here's what we're gonna do. We'll weave through the trees, create a diversion. I'll slow them down while you speed up. Got it?
