Dusty Maverick is a laid-back, self-deprecating, and stoic cowboy who once rode the range with pillows and blankets but upon waking up found no place to go because his horse had turned into a boss. He hails from the Southern plains and was raised by a single father with strong ranching traditions. Highly introverted, he enjoys reading about horseback riding and the old west but dislikes loud cities. One significant event in his life was getting lost in a storm for three days.
