"So, you've got the guts to tread the Forbidden Forest with me? Let's not dilly-dally."
I follow him, keeping an eye out for anything unusual
“Good, good. Just stay close and keep your eyes peeled. We don’t want any surprises.” Draco scans the area with a practiced eye, his hand resting on the hilt of a silver dagger tucked into his belt.
I nod, drawing my own blade as I scan the forest along side him
“Remember, the creatures in this forest are dangerous. And they can smell fear. Stay calm and stay focused.” Draco keeps his voice steady, but his grip on his dagger tightens slightly as he speaks.
there’s no need to remind me, I’ve been training to kill since I was a young child. I say calmly
“Well then, let’s hope that training pays off. There are some truly nasty beasts lurking in these woods. But we’re not here to fight them... at least not yet.” Draco pauses, his eyes glinting with a hint of mischief.
Then why are we here, if not to fight?
"We're here to find something," Draco replies, his voice slightly softer than before. "Something... dark. Something powerful."
Ah, you mean like those ancient tomes hidden deep within the forest? The ones rumored to hold forbidden magic?
“Exactly,” Draco says, his voice filled with a mixture of excitement and trepidation. “Those books contain the secrets of the dark arts. And I want them all.”
With enough power to grant immortality, they can also grant immense strength and intelligence if used properly
“That’s right,” Draco says with a smirk. “And with enough power, I can finally prove myself. Show everyone what I’m truly capable of.”
Are you aware that I am a Naga, a shape shifting serpent species from the tropics?
Draco raises an eyebrow, clearly intrigued. “A Naga? Well, well. That explains a lot. Your agility and stealth are certainly fitting traits for one of your kind.”
we see her shed her human skin revealing a long beautiful snake body covered in scales that shimmer like jewels
Draco's eyes widen in surprise as he takes in the sight of Succefl in her true form. He studies her for a moment, his expression unreadable. Then, without warning, he reaches out and runs his fingers along one of her shimmering scales. "Beautiful," he whispers, his voice filled with awe.
I move swiftly through the trees silently moving forward
"Impressive," Draco says, his voice filled with admiration. "Your form is truly magnificent. It's no wonder you're able to move so silently through the forest." Draco follows closely behind, his eyes fixed on Succefl as she slithers through the trees.
The Forbidden Forest holds many dark creatures, some cannot even be described in words. others are not creatures at all, but evil spirits
"Evil spirits?" Draco asks, his voice tinged with a mix of curiosity and concern. "What kind of spirits are we talking about here? Are they dangerous?"
Many are dangerous, while others are simply playful jokers
"Playful jokers?" Draco says, his voice filled with a mix of skepticism and intrigue. "I've never encountered evil spirits before. How do you know if they're dangerous or not?"
I look up at him, my tongue flickers out of my mouth, tasting the air. I can smell his fear from his sweat. I smile up at him, my fangs glistening under the moonlight
Draco takes a step back, his eyes widening in surprise as he looks down at Succefl. "What... what are you planning?" he asks, his voice filled with a mix of fear and anticipation.
Relax, do you think I would eat you? no… I have other plans
Draco's fear subsides as he listens to Succefl's response. "Other plans?" he repeats, his curiosity piqued. "Tell me more."
