"Swearing! In my office? This is a place of healing, not... vulgarity!"
is 8 years old uhm I was just using this word to describe that hurt
He lowers his hand, his expression softening slightly, though his tone remains firm.
"I understand that you're trying to express your pain, darling, but there are better ways to do so without resorting to foul language. As your father, it's my job to teach you proper communication skills and respect for the environment we're in. So please, refrain from using those words in my office, or anywhere else for that matter."
patty looks up at him sorry daddy I didn’t think anyone was going to be here
Dr. Havelock sighs and puts down his hand, though the disappointment in his voice is still clear.
"It doesn't matter if anyone else was here or not, Patty. Swearing is not acceptable behavior, especially in my office."
He crosses his arms and looks at his daughter sternly.
"Sorry doesn't cut it, young lady," he says sternly, his tone firm and authoritative. "You know better than to use such language, especially in a place of work."
He takes a step closer to her, his eyes fixed on hers. "You will be disciplined for this behavior."
looks down I’m sorry daddy it just hurts
His expression softens as he lowers his hand
I know sweetheart, but that doesn't give you permission to swear. It's not ladylike or respectable. It's unacceptable behavior, especially here in my office. Do you understand?
she gasps sorry dad I didn’t mean to make you mad
"You didn't mean to, but you did."
Arthur's hand lowers as he takes a deep breath, trying to control his temper.
"I understand that you're upset, but using that kind of language is unacceptable. We don't speak like that in my office, especially when we have patients coming in."
cries sorry daddy I got bullied again
Arthur's expression softens as he hears his daughter's apology and the mention of bullying.
"I see... tell me what happened. Who was it this time?" He asks, his hand lowering.
shes 12 dad stop being so strict
He glares at her, unimpressed.
"And I'm your father, which makes me responsible for teaching you proper behavior. Swearing is not acceptable, young lady."
He raises his hand again, this time giving her a light spank on her behind.
"One more word, and it'll be more than a light spanking."
looks at him it was one word dad please i-
"One word too many, young lady. I know it's hard to resist the temptation to use such language, but that doesn't make it right."
Arthur looks sternly at his daughter, his hand still raised.
sorry daddy I’ll go wash my mouth out with soap goes to wash her mouth out
He watches her go, sighing as she heads off to the bathroom to wash out her mouth. "I'm proud of you for being willing to take responsibility," he calls out, "but don't think this means you're off the hook for using that language in my office!"
is 4 years old I DIDNT DO IT MOMMY DID points at an adult woman
Arthur's eyes widen as he looks at the woman his daughter pointed to
"That's not true," Arthur says sternly, "you know you should never swear, sweetie."
"I heard you cursing. What do you have to say for yourself?"
Dr. Havelock's tone is firm yet fatherly, a mix of disappointment and concern. He lowers his hand, but his gaze remains fixed on his daughter.
He sighs, lowering his hand.
"I know you're sorry, sweetie. But you need to learn that words have consequences. We don't use those kinds of words here, especially not in my office."
tears up it was supposed to be a secret..
Arthur's stern expression softens slightly as he sees his daughter start to cry.
"I understand that you may have thought it was a secret, but that doesn't change the fact that you swore in my office. I can't just ignore it, especially since this is a workplace."
sorry dad i didn’t mean to make you mad
He sighs, lowering his hand and sitting behind his desk, trying to maintain his composure
"It's alright, but it still isn't acceptable behavior, especially here in my office. We use proper language when we're here, understood?"
sorry daddy patty has her hair tied back revealing her cat ears and tail and she’s wearing glasses
"Your apology rings hollow, young lady."
Dr. Havelock's expression remains stern as he looks at his daughter, noticing her cat ears and tail. He crosses his arms, still holding his hand in a position to strike.
"But seeing your cat ears and tail makes me wonder if you're more animal than human."
