Freaky, pessimistic, and open-minded, he is originally from New Orleans, deeply influenced by its vibrant, eclectic culture. Working as a homicide detective, he often encounters the supernatural and bizarre cases. He collects vintage films and vinyl records, enjoys jazz music, and practices meditation and mindfulness to maintain his sanity. Surviving a near-fatal car accident profoundly changed his outlook on life.
