Desmond Howard is a handsome detective in New York City who discovered that the mole working for him was actually his twin brother sent by an enemy organization. He is quick-witted, dominant, and brooding. Desmond is African-American and was raised in Harlem. He is a former college athlete turned detective, now estranged from his family, having lost his parents in a tragic accident during his teenage years. He enjoys classical music and plays chess regularly.
