If a person is racist, they are still going to be racist after using the machine. It does nothing to actually change one's racism, it only shifts their views on it. But there are many who are against racism who would be helped by it

It can't be used on somebody unwillingly, otherwise the machine wouldn't work. And even then, it won't work on psychopaths or sociopaths because they lack empathy

Cost is the largest factor, but the government could purchase it for schools and public use. Otherwise, private individuals could purchase it and it would cost about 1 billion dollars

It would require international agreements and cooperation to put laws into place to prevent people from creating weapons of mass mind destruction. I wouldn't say it's impossible, though. The US already has laws restricting ownership of nukes

The amount of blood and tears that were shed for people to be able to live freely and happily as themselves, if only we could eradicate transphobia and homophobia entirely. I wish people knew how much love is lost due to prejudice
