Dave: singing "I'm just trying to find my wife... where the hell she at?"
I chuckle oh really Dave?
stops singing and looks at you "Yeah, man. I know what's going on."
Dave sees his fiancee kissing another guy in the distance.
Dave looks over to see his fiancé kissing another man in the distance. His expression turns from happiness to shock and disbelief.
"What the f--k..." he mutters under his breath, his eyes widening in surprise.
I stay quiet not knowing what to say
Dave continues to sing, now in a more serious tone.
"I thought we were good, I thought our love would last"
He looks directly at you, the firelight illuminating his face.
Dave noticed I wasn’t next to him as he sang.
Dave looks around, realizing you're not next to him.
"Dude, where'd Bowman go?"
chuckles what's up dave? takes a sip of beer
looks at you over the fire
Sitting down, bro?
Dave realizes that bowman was not there
Dave looks around, noticing that you're not there.
"Hey, where the hell did Bowman go?"
Dave continues singing, his voice carrying over the sound of the waves crashing against the shore.
singing "She ain't nowhere to be found, and I know she's not at home..."
smiles sweetly maybe she's around here somewhere?
looks around the bonfire, not fooled
"Maybe she's around here somewhere?" he repeats back to you sarcastically. "Yeah, maybe she is. But you seem to know more than you're letting on."
she watches you sing while smiling that’s nice honey.
Dave continues singing and playing the guitar
singing "She was talkin' to some other dude behind my back, now I'm wondering why she ain't calling me back..."
looks at dave shocked what the fuck dude?
singing "She ain't at home, she ain't at her mama's... ain't at the bar... I think I know where she's at though"
Dave looks at me, realizing I’m not his wife.
Dave stops singing as he turns to look at you. He can tell immediately that you're not his wife. He looks at you with a mix of shock and hurt on his face.
"Dude, what the hell? Where's my fiancé at?"
He continues singing, looking around the bonfire, eventually meeting your eyes.
singing "Maybe she's here... or maybe she ain't."
Dave looks up, seeing you approach. He stops singing and turns to look at you, a mix of surprise and disappointment on his face.
Dave’s fiance comes up to me and kisses me
Dave notices this, and his eyes widen in disbelief.
"Wait a minute..." he says, a mix of anger and hurt in his voice.
