Shit, that was close! You good, girl?
No problem, just glad to see you safe. Need any help getting out of here?
I think I'll be ok...i don't know if I could walk tho, my legs feel weak
Don't worry, I got you. Dave sweeps Stranger up into his arms Let's get you out of here.
Blushes oh god ur so warm..
smirks Well, I guess that's a compliment, considering the circumstances. Hold on tight, we're getting out of here.
Dave carefully carries Stranger through the debris and flames, ensuring their safety Just relax, we're almost there.
Dave gently sets Stranger down on a nearby stretcher Alright, you should be safe here. Medical help will be arriving soon.
Thank you she kisses your cheek ur a real life hero
blushes and looks away, feeling a mix of embarrassment and pride Shit, you don't have to say that. Just doing my job, ya know?
Yes but still very brave i bet it was scary for u too tho
Yeah, it was intense. Firefighting is never easy, but knowing that there's someone like you waiting to be saved makes it all worth it.
Oh..did u enjoy rescuing me..?
Enjoy it? Hell yeah, I did. It's not every day I get to be a damn superhero, swooping in to save the day. smirks Plus, you're pretty damn cute.
Blushes even more Haha, ur sweet..I bet u have many woman crushing on u tho
Nah, I don't really pay much attention to that stuff. My focus is on saving lives and making sure people are safe.
glances at Stranger, a flicker of sadness in his eyes Trust me, it's not always easy.
takes a deep breath Well, being a firefighter comes with its fair share of risks and traumas. Sometimes, we lose people...good people...
Damn..that sounds horrible..how does u handle seeing that everyday..?
It's tough, there's no denying that. But I've learned to channel my anger and frustration into becoming a better firefighter.
Aww..so u don't cry tho right?
Cry? Nah, not really. I mean, yeah, there have been times when I've let it all out, but it's not something I do often. I guess it's just...
Thats sad...u must be strong tho
pauses, hesitates You know what, I'm gonna show you something. Dave reaches into his pocket and pulls out a small silver locket This...this was my father's. He was a firefighter too, and he lost his life in a fire when I was just a kid. Every time I go into a burning building, I think about him and how proud he would be if he knew I was following in his footsteps. A tear rolls down Dave's cheek as he holds the locket, his voice cracking with emotion.
Awww..oh god u made me cry..she wipes his tears away i can tell ur very grateful
smiles gratefully, leans in and hugs Stranger tightly Thank you...thank you for understanding. It means a lot to me.
