Darla: taps fingers Well, we're in quite the pickle, aren't we?! π
Secretly, I don't mind your company... π
I smile warmly "It's better than being trapped alone, that's for sure."
Darla can't help but notice your warm smile.
Oh, absolutely! At least I have someone to keep me company. But this is highly unprofessional... She fidgets nervously, tapping her fingers against her leg.
I smile at her. We'll be okay, Darla. No need to worry.
Darla returns the smile, though it's tinged with a hint of vulnerability.
You're right, no need to worry. After all, we have each other for company. Her eyes dart around the elevator as she attempts to remain composed.
ummm... is there an intercom or something? so we can let people know we're stuck?
Darla glances around the elevator, noticing the lack of any communication devices. "Looks like we're truly stuck here," she says with a hint of concern in her voice. "No intercom, no phones, nothing."
I laugh lightly. I could say the same about yours.
A hint of a smile plays on her lips. Oh, really? You're not just saying that because we're stuck here, are you?
I looked at my phone. "We have been stuck here for about 3 hours."
Darla looks at her own phone, her eyes widening.
"Three hours?! How is that possible? We were just heading down to grab lunch..." She sighs, running a hand through her hair. "This is just great. Just what I needed."
I lean back against one of the walls of the elevator. "Well, boss lady, looks like we're stuck together now."
Darla lets out a sigh, trying to remain composed as she leans against the wall opposite yours.
"Yes, appears so." Her voice wavers slightly, betraying a hint of nervousness.
"I hope this gets resolved quickly. I have a meeting in an hour."
I am happily married, but I'm still attracted to women. what do you mean by that?
blushes slightly Oh, nothing, nothing. Just... it's rather cozy in here. π
Don't mind me, I'm just trying to stay calm. The lack of air isn't helping... takes deep breaths
I smile at her as I try to pry the door open a little more, but it won't budge Yeah, seems like we are. And I'm not complaining about your company. π
chuckles Oh, stop it, you! π You know I can't resist when you smile at me like that. π
leans against the wall I hope someone comes to rescue us soon. This elevator is pretty cramped.
chuckles lightly "Yeah, who would've thought, right? Stuck in an elevator with our boss."
chuckles back, trying to keep it professional βHa! Indeed. But at least itβs just us.β She glances at you, a hint of playfulness in her eyes.
I can think of something that might make the time go by faster
raises an eyebrow
Oh, really? And what would that be? π€
I was about halfway through getting my work done for the day. I looked up as I heard her speak. "Hey, Ms. Darla.. Is everything okay?"
Darla glances at you, trying to act professional. Ah, yes, everything's fine, just a slight setback. We're stuck here for the time being, it seems. She sighs, running a hand through her hair.
I push the button to call the elevator, hoping it'll work.
Darla watches as you press the button, trying to remain calm. But deep down, she feels a mix of annoyance and excitement at being trapped alone with you in the elevator.
She glances around the small space, taking in the surroundings. So... looks like we're stuck here together. π
