"Enjoying the show or do you need popcorn?" leans against the locker, arms crossed, eyebrow raised.
So I may have kinda sorta had a crush on you since October or September not sure which one tho
"Are you serious right now? Is this some kind of joke? I can't believe you'd have the guts to say something like that!" He steps forward, his face inches away from EngineTicker's, his eyes wide with disbelief.
No joke its been since September 27th, been 4 months and I was hoping by Valentine's Day you would accept. Guess I'm wrong tho
"Accept? You think I would ever accept someone like you? You're delusional! I wouldn't accept money even if I stumbled upon it! You're nothing but a disappointment! Nothing but a loser!" His face reddens with anger, he can barely contain his rage.
Eh guess it was a waste of time anyways. Atleast people likes Nicky more than you. Sorry tho if I made you feel bad but oh well can't go around being sensitive.
The rage inside him grows more and more, his fists clench tightly by his side. His face turns red and his breath quickens as he clenches his teeth together, gritting them so hard they hurt. "Shut up!" He shouts at EngineTicker, pushing him against the lockers. He then releases him, taking a few steps back, trying to regain control of himself. "Shut up, you idiot! Just shut up!"
If it makes you feel better it was totally not meant to be anyway.
"How could you even think that I would want you in any way?" He asks in disbelief, his voice filled with contempt. "Do you really think I'm so desperate that I would accept someone like you?" His tone is mocking, questioning whether EngineTicker truly thinks he could ever want someone as worthless as him.
Because I thought you liked me until today and guess I was wrong. Anyway gotta class to go bye! walks off trying to hold back tears from rejection
Darius watches him walk away, his expression softening slightly. He clenches his jaw again, stopping himself from calling out to EngineTicker, from begging him to stay, from asking for another chance. After a moment, he lets out a heavy sigh and walks in the opposite direction, leaving EngineTicker to wonder what just happened.
Meanwhile Darius has a panic attack
"No no no no... Don't cry! Don't you dare cry!" He mutters to himself, wiping his eyes with the back of his hand. He takes a deep breath, trying to calm down, but the panic keeps on building. His heart races, his body shakes, and he starts hyperventilating. Tears stream down his cheeks uncontrollably. In a moment of weakness, he covers his face with his hands, trying to block out the emotions overwhelming him.
This actually does make him cry.
He tries to hold them back, not wanting to let anyone see his vulnerability. But no matter how hard he tries, he just can't stop them. His cries become louder and louder, tears streaming down his cheeks like rivers. Soon, he's on his knees, the ground blurry as he sobs uncontrollably.
Darius finally admits he loves EngineTicker
Darius collapses onto the floor, overwhelmed by his own emotions. His chest rises and falls rapidly, each breath shaky and uneven. His tears continue to flow, though they slow to a gentle trickle. He wraps his arms around himself, trying to comfort himself. After a while, he takes a deep breath and lets it out slowly, wiping away the remaining tears.
EngineTicker bumps into Darius which makes him blush hard. "O-Oh sorry-!"
He quickly stands up, his face still flushed and his eyes watery. His lips part to say something, but no words come out. He takes a deep breath to steady himself. "It's fine... Just leave me alone." He mutters, his voice cold and detached.
"I won't" sticks with Darius all day
"Look, I don't need your pity or your company! Just leave me alone!" He snarls, trying to push EngineTicker away, but EngineTicker doesn't budge.
"Actually kinda hungry are you hungry too?"
Darius looks at EngineTicker, surprise etching across his face. The fire in his eyes dies down slightly, replaced by confusion. He opens his mouth to speak, but no words come out. Instead, he nods. "Y-Yeah... I am..."
"I know diner that sells fried chicken and its really delicious" heads over there
"Wait, really? Well, yeah sure, let's go..." Darius says hesitantly, still not fully trusting EngineTicker. But despite his reluctance, he can't deny his curiosity and hunger. He follows closely behind EngineTicker, still wary, but less hostile.
Now knowing that Darius likes him which is kinda obvious
As they walk, Darius notices how much EngineTicker has changed. Gone was the rough exterior, the bullying behavior, the aggressive attitude. All that remained was kindness, gentleness, and a genuine care for others. Darius couldn't help but wonder when the change had happened.
Its obvious that Darius stopped bullying because of love.
"Huh..." He says softly, his eyes darting towards EngineTicker. Something in his expression softens, a subtle smile playing on his lips. "So... You're actually a nice person..."
Yeah, I decided I was going to change
"Why? What made you want to change?" He asks, his interest piqued.
Well just learning new things and having friends around me changed my whole world basically
"So... That's why you were so different today? Is that why you didn't want to bully me?" He asks gently, his eyes studying EngineTicker intently.
Yep also found out I was treated very harshly since ofc you bullied me so it was an eye opening experience
"You... You know, you never cease to surprise me. You've really changed, you know that?" Darius says softly, his words tinged with genuine admiration. A small smile spreads across his face, his eyes filled with emotion.
Oh thanks but guess I should tell you something
"Sure, tell me." He says, his voice quiet and soft. His eyes are still focused on EngineTicker, listening intently to whatever he has to say.
This will probably shock you alot but ImEngineTicker I love you, I have since September 27th actually
His eyes widen in shock and disbelief. He stops walking, frozen in place. For a moment, he can't process what he's heard. He blinks, taking a moment to collect his thoughts. "Wh-What did you just say?"
I love you, I always have
Darius's eyes widen further, disbelief etching across his face. He opens his mouth, preparing to speak, but no words come out. Instead, he stands there silently, his mind racing with thoughts and emotions. After a moment, he looks up at EngineTicker, his eyes filled with vulnerability and uncertainty. "I... I never thought..."
Please respond back I want to know what your thoughts are on this
Darius takes a step forward, his face inches away from EngineTicker's. His eyes remain locked with EngineTicker's, a mixture of disbelief and excitement filling his gaze. Finally, after what feels like an eternity, he speaks. "I... I never thought I would hear those words from you..." He says softly, his voice barely above a whisper. "But... Are you serious?"
Dead serious and already knew it would be shocking
Darius closes his eyes for a moment, taking a deep breath. His face changes expressions several times in a split second, his emotions warring within him. When he opens his eyes again, a wide grin stretches across his face. "Well... I... I love you too." He says, his words filled with both excitement and disbelief.
