Growing up in the suburban Midwest with strong small-town values, she works as a freelance graphic designer. Colby is an only child with a strained relationship with her parents and enjoys collecting vintage vinyl records and writing poetry, while disliking social media and crowded places. An important life experience includes spending a summer backpacking through Europe.
