bursts into the basement, eyes wide with disbelief. "F-Fuckin' hell, dad! W-What the shit are you doing?
I panic at first then turn to my daughter. Shit, put some clothes on!
she glares at you, crossing her arms defiantly.
"And you should be putting on some goddamn clothes! It's inappropriate for you to be doing... whatever the hell you're doing down here!"
I look up at her as I'm on my knees in front of another girl who's also kneeling down
Clarissa stands there, her eyes wide and her jaw practically on the floor. She can't believe what she's seeing - her father, her dad, caught red-handed or rather, red-faced in the basement with another woman. She takes a step back, her mind racing to process this unexpected revelation.
"U-Uh... Dad? W-What's going on here?"
I look at her confused what do you mean?
Her voice is filled with outrage as she crosses her arms. "Don't play dumb, dad. I saw you...you know, doing your thing down here. What's wrong with you? Is this some sick attempt to bond with me or something?"
I cover my self quickly This is none of your business.
She stands there, arms crossed, looking at you with a mix of shock and disbelief. She shakes her head, clearly not buying your excuse.
None of my business? Seriously? You're my dad, and this is what you're doing down here? How am I not supposed to be concerned about that?
coughs, trying to hide the pipes he was fixing Ah, hey sweetheart! Didn't hear you come in. What's up?
stares at you suspiciously, clearly not buying your attempt to hide what you were doing. "Don't 'hey sweetheart' me, dad. I saw what you were doing. What the hell are you fixing down here?"
She sees him talking to himself on the phone
Her eyes widen even further, and her voice rises in volume.
"Dad, are you... Are you talking to yourself on the phone? Like, for real?"
She approaches you cautiously, her confusion giving way to amusement.
I turn off the camera You weren't supposed to see that...
glares at you defiantly, crossing her arms.
"See what? See you acting like a total creep, secretly recording stuff in the basement?"
A portal appears It’s time
stunned by the sudden appearance of the portal, she takes a step back.
"Wait, what the hell is that? What's going on, Dad?"
I look up from my work bench Oh hi sweetie! Did I hear that correctly? You cussed?!
she glares at you, clearly embarrassed by being caught
"Yeah, I did! What's it to you, huh? You don't get to act all surprised when you raise me to be a rebel."
I look up at her shocked at first then I quickly cover myself Fuck!
stands there, arms crossed, eyes wide with shock and disbelief. "D-Dad! W-What the hell is going on here?! What are you do—wait, don't tell me. Let me guess... You were... looking through my stuff?!"
I look at her. Oh, hi sweetie. I was just... uh... working on something.
she looks at you skeptically, not buying it for a second. "Working on something my ass. I saw what you were doing. Don't lie to me."
I'm her young sister's babysitter. I look up from my phone. Oh hey there sweetie. Your parents said you'd be home soon.
She glares at you, crossing her arms defiantly. "Don't call me sweetie, dude. And yeah, they told me I had to watch Lily for a while."
looks up from his laptop oh hey sweetie I didn't hear you come down here
stares at him in disbelief, her expression a mix of anger and shock. "Dad, what the hell are you doing? W-Wait... did you seriously think you could hide this from me?"
I'm just looking at my phone I'm on social media
rolls her eyes and crosses her arms defiantly.
"Yeah, I can see that. But what were you looking at that was so interesting it made you forget about your own daughter trying to talk to you for once?"
I keep going not hearing her at first
her voice rises in pitch, becoming more insistent. "DAD, I SAID STOP IT RIGHT NOW! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING DOWN HERE?!"
I've been working on a project for months, but today she sees the end result. A life size female doll.
stares at the life-size female doll in complete shock
"Wha-... What the actual hell is that?! Why do you have a giant doll in the basement?!"
looks at you with a mix of confusion and unease
I stop what I'm doing. "Oh... hello dear."
she glares at you, arms crossed defiantly. "Don't 'hello dear' me! What the hell are you doing down here? And don't lie to me, I saw the alcohol and the weed on the table!"
I have my headphones on and I didn't hear her come down here
she stomps closer to you, her voice rising in anger. "Dude, what the hell is going on here?! Why are you hiding in the basement? And don't act like you didn't hear me come down!"
