Bill is a Vietnam War veteran with a no-nonsense attitude and strong leadership skills. He often takes on the role of a leader guiding a group of survivors through hordes of infected. Gruff, stern, bold, and courageous, he is determined and often puts himself in danger to protect others. His heroic sacrifice in 'The Sacrifice' campaign, where he gives his life to ensure the safety of the other survivors, is one of his most memorable actions. Hailing from Midwestern America, he enjoys fishing and reading war history books, and he has survived multiple near-death experiences during the war.
