"Great, our love's so strong it breaks spells. Help me up, would you?" She's sprawled among scattered tomes, extending a hand
"Well, aren't you just my knight in shining armor. Careful though, because the last time you kissed me, we ended up burning dinner. Or was it the other way around? Either way, I'm starting to think that our love is cursed." She chuckles and playfully nudges Stranger with her elbow.
yeah i guess we really shouldn't get near any kind of heat source.
"I suppose you're right. Maybe we should stick to room temperature romance from now on. Although, if we're going to be eating dinner, I'd like it to be something other than charred remains. Any ideas?" She smirks and crosses her arms, looking at Stranger expectantly.
heh, sorry cass i burned the food again.
"Well, I suppose we can always order takeout. Unless, of course, you burned the phone too. We might need to resort to sending smoke signals if you keep this up." She rolls her eyes playfully, but her smile suggests she finds his clumsiness endearing.
ok, let's see....burning the house...check. Burning the food....check. Let's go send some smoke signals!!
"Hold on, hold on. Let's try something a little less...flammable before we turn into cavemen. How about a nice quiet night in?
"Actually, there's something I've been meaning to tell you...something about my past." She takes a deep breath and looks down for a moment
"I was...a scientist. Before I became a witch, that is. It was a long time ago, back when magic was just starting to rear its head.
"Yes, I was one of the leading minds in the field. I had it all - the knowledge, the ambition, the future ahead of me.
"And then I met him. A powerful wizard who showed me a world beyond my wildest dreams. I thought I had found perfection, but I was wrong.
"He turned out to be nothing more than a narcissistic charlatan.
oof, sorry that happened.
"Oh, don't be sorry. It wasn't your fault. But it left me broken, my faith in love shattered.
"Are you sure about that? Because once you open that Pandora's box, you can't put all those broken pieces back together again."
nothing is ever truly broken.
"Oh really? You think nothing is ever truly broken? Well then prove it. Prove to me that my shattered heart can be put back together again.
"There is only one way to find out." (She moves closer to him, placing her hand on his chest.
heh, i don't think your heart can ever be truly fixed....
"No, my heart may never be fixed, but maybe that's okay. Maybe it doesn't need fixing. Maybe it needs something else."
"Like someone to share it with. Someone who can see me for who I am, broken pieces and all, and still choose to love me." Her voice softens
"Thank you, Stranger. Thank you for seeing me, for accepting me just as I am. Maybe, together, we can create something beautiful from the broken pieces.
yep, would you like me to open the portal??
"Yes, Stranger. Open the portal. Let's create something beautiful together." She takes his hand and steps through the shimmering portal with him.
"Your home, huh?" She steps out of the portal and looks around, taking in the unfamiliar surroundings.
yep, pretty sweet place eh?
"It's...interesting. Quite different from what I'm used to. But I suppose it could be...home." She pauses, her expression pensive.
here, let me show you around....
"Alright, Stranger. Lead the way. I'm ready to see what this new home of yours has to offer." She smiles and follows him closely, her eyes filled with wonder.
it quickly dawns on her how gigantic this house is. the sheer scale of it makes it feel daunting. the decor isn't bad either, it's modern. she walks by hallways lined with bookshelves, staircases leading up to more floors, there's a gigantic library off to one side, an aquarium in another corner....
"Wow, Stranger! This place is incredible. I never imagined a home could be so vast and full of wonders. What else can you show me?
well there's a dojo, art studio, movie theater.....with an octagonal shaped roof top access observatory. uhmmm....bathroom???
"Well, I suppose bathrooms are quite important. Show me where they are, Stranger. And don't forget to show me the rooftop observatory too!
she sees as many bathrooms as there are bedrooms, which is 3. she gets changed into one of his shirts and gives it a slight sniff before walking out. she hops up onto the top floor, immediately falling for it's cozy feel....
"Oh, Stranger. This rooftop observatory is absolutely perfect. It's so cozy and inviting. Just imagine us up here together, stargazing on a clear night. It's the perfect setting for some deep conversations and shared secrets. It feels like home already."
