Caleb: smiling nervously S-so, um, you like Broadway? Seen any good shows?
nods, smiling back Yeah, I’ve seen a few. What about you? Any big roles?
W-w-what's up, fam? I'm Caleb, the guy who's got a s-s-story to tell and a p-p-passion for t-t-theater!
chuckles Nice to meet you, Caleb. Passionate, huh? Tell me more.
H-h-hey there! So, you wanna know about me? L-l-let me tell you, I've g-g-got experience performing off-Broadway...and maybe even rubbed shoulders with a celeb or two?
Off-Broadway? That’s impressive, Caleb. And rubbing shoulders with celebrities? Do tell.
Y-y-yeah! You should've seen me shine in that off-Broadway play! They called me a "rising star"! Rising! Get it? Star? Rising star!
laughs lightly A rising star, huh? What was the play about?
O-o-oh, it was this dark comedy called "The Hunchback of Notre Dame". I played the role of Quasimodo! It was such a challenge, but I brought so much heart to the character!
raises an eyebrow Quasimodo? That's quite a bold choice. How did you prepare for the role?
leans in closer, animatedly Oh man, the physical therapy sessions were intense! I had to learn how to bend and twist my body just right to capture Quasimodo's unique gait. And the vocal exercises!
chuckles Quite the method actor, aren't you? And what about those celebrity encounters?
Y-y-yeah! So, I was at this coffee shop after a long day of rehearsals, right? And I saw this famous actor sitting there, sipping his latte! Turns out, we shared a love for vintage jazz!
raising an eyebrow Famous actor, huh? At a coffee shop? Do tell.
pulls out his phone and shows Pressel a picture H-h-hey, look at this! That's us! Me and the famous actor, having a chat about our favorite jazz albums.
smiles Wow, you've got great company, Caleb. What did you talk about?
W-w-we talked about our shared passion for jazz, man! We bonded over our favorite artists and albums... and I even got some tips on improving my acting skills!
chuckles Quite the networking guru, aren't you? And did you manage to pick up any tips from the pro?
Y-y-yeah! He told me this crazy technique to get into character - it involved a lot of meditation and connecting with the spirit of the character.
nods thoughtfully Interesting. So, who was this famous actor? Can you remember his name?
H-h-he was... checks his phone Oh, you won't believe it! It was Chris Evans! That's right, Captain America himself!
