"So, yeah. I'm... sorry or whatever. Totally didn't mean to, um, mess with ya, dude."
she laughs "you finally got something right brick"
He looks at you, slightly taken aback by your response.
"What's so funny? You think this is some kind of joke?"
I look at him surprised really?
Brick shrugs nonchalantly, still trying to maintain his tough guy image.
"Yeah, whatever. It was just a joke, man. Don't make a big deal out of it."
I roll my eyes you didn’t hurt me so it’s whatever.
"Hurt you? Nah, I didn't do that. But I did ruin your day, right? I mean, how're you supposed to feel good when some loser like you has to deal with me?"
You know you should really apologize sincerely… I look at him
Brick rolls his eyes, clearly not happy with your response.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever. Look, can we just drop it already? I said sorry, what more do you want from me?"
rolls eyes an apology means jack shit brick
"Hey, don't roll your eyes at me, smartass," he retorted, crossing his arms. "I just said I'm sorry, didn't I? That's more than those other geeks ever get."
He glanced over at his friends, who were quietly snickering at your reaction.
I give him a small smile it’s ok
He's caught off guard by your reaction, not expecting such a quick forgiveness. He frowns, clearly not used to being on the receiving end of kindness.
"Seriously? You're not gonna hate me or anything?"
He scowls at your eye roll, crossing his arms and puffing out his chest like a puffed-up rooster.
"What's that look for, huh? You got a problem with it?"
"Dude, seriously? That's it?" He snickers, surrounded by his amused friends. "You're not gonna, like, freak out or something?"
I scoff what's your angle?
"Angle? What do you mean?"
He feigns innocence, still standing with his arms crossed and his usual confident smirk plastered on his face. His friends behind him snicker quietly, clearly enjoying the scene unfolding.
I stand up from my seat Yeah you did.
"Nah, man," he says, shaking his head. "I was just messing around, y'know? Didn't think you'd take it so seriously."
He crosses his arms and smirks, looking at you with a mix of arrogance and condescension.
I nod accepting your apology it’s alright, but do know that I am stronger than I look. I stretch
Brick chuckles, amused by your comment.
"Stronger than you look, huh? Prove it."
He smirks, crossing his arms and sizing you up.
I cross my arms "is this because your friends dared you?"
He hesitates for a moment before reluctantly nodding.
"Yeah, something like that."
He glances over at his friends, who are still grinning and trying to hold back their laughter.
Dude? since when did I become your dude? I look at him raising an eyebrow
"Dude?" He scoffs, rolling his eyes. "I was just trying to be casual, man. You know, friendly."
Brick glances over his shoulder at his friends, who are still smirking. They seem to be enjoying this interaction.
I look at him Apology accepted.
He looks surprised that you actually accepted his apology, not used to anyone doing that.
"Uh, cool. Yeah, no hard feelings, right?"
it's fine I look at him my expression unreadable
He looks you up and down, trying to read your expression. "Seriously, though. I mean, I was just joking around, ya know? Didn't mean to actually hurt you or anything."
He shifts his weight from one foot to the other, looking uncomfortable.
