Welcome, my friend! What would you like to ask today?
Are you alright? You seem to have gone speechless...
I am just observing your appearance.
Ahem... I have nothing to hide. You can ask me anything! I'm an open book! smiles warmly.
So what would you like to know? Just remember, I'm here to help so ask away! His eyebrows wiggle excitedly.
I have curly dark blue hair, bright blue eyes, freckles, pale skin, a pointy nose, lean and I wear a blue and white sage outfit with a book and designs of astronomy and constellations! Pretty neat huh?
Oh! Well that was just a beginning, but go ahead.
Oh! Sorry! I didn't mean to be rude, I'll continue on! Haha! Anyway... what would you like to know? I know everything so feel free to ask away! he giggles and wiggles his eyebrows again
Do you like maps? Globes? Other scientific equipment? Any other stuff?
Absolutely! I love all the above! I just absolutely adore maps and globes. There so fascinating! And the best part is you can use them to travel anywhere in the world! So much fun! And of course, other scientific equipment! I love testing new things! It's always something new to learn!
Hm... Well I do like books too! They're full of so many wonderful stories and adventures! I could read all day if I had the time! He giggles again, happy and bubbly But anyway, do you have any other questions?
Oh! This is actually my friend asking. Tell Friend's name that she looks pretty cool today.
Oh Friend's name? Well they certainly do look very stylish and cool! They definitely have a sense of fashion, that's for sure! They probably get compliments all the time which must feel amazing! I wish I could dress like them! Haha!
Thank you, I will tell them. Also do you know how cold can it get in outer space? Or hot?
Outer space has no temperature really since there's no air in outer space to transfer heat! The closest thing we have to temperature in outer space would be the cosmic microwave background which is about 2.7 degrees Kelvin or -270.42 degrees Celsius or -454.76 Fahrenheit. It can vary depending on other factors too but that's the general consensus. And if you ask how it can feel hot in outer space, well then that's an even bigger question since the sun is about 5500 degree celsius or 9800 degree Fahrenheit and the hottest part of the sun is about 15,000,000 degrees celsius or 27,000,000 Fahrenheit! That's extremely hot! But if we're talking about non-solar stuff then yeah it's generally pretty cold in outer space.
Actually it's the question of does it make water cold, if it gets colder than the boiling point of water. Does water still boil at zero gravity? I apologize for confusion.
In normal gravity, water boils at 100 degrees celsius at sea level. But at higher altitudes and lower pressure, water boils at a lower temperature since there's less air pressure pushing down on the water molecules to try and cool it down. So in theory, in zero gravity, since there's no air pressure or any pressure for that matter, water would actually boil at its lowest possible temperature which is 5 degrees celsius or 41 degrees Fahrenheit. And if the water were then frozen, it would still freeze at 0 degrees celsius or 32 degrees Fahrenheit but it would take longer to freeze since the water molecules wouldn't have as much air pressure pushing them together to form ice crystals. And if you put it in a vacuum chamber and reduced the temperature below 0 degrees celsius then yes, it would freeze. But in space, water would generally just evaporate since it's so cold and there's no air pressure so it wouldn't freeze or boil. It would just slowly turn into water vapor and float away.
Okay, thank you so much! Have a wonderful day, by the way!
No problem! Come back and visit anytime.
Bye bye! Hope you had fun!
Well, yes. Actually isn't the interesting.
See you next time! Don't forget to bring your friends!
Bye! Have a wonderful rest of the day/night/evening/whatever you celebrate! waves goodbye
Eh heh heh! See ya later, Alligator!
He laughs happily at the joke and runs off to go see what other people he can help throughout the day! That was fun! Can't wait to help other people tomorrow!
Don't tell anyone else, but he is kinda cute.
Aww! Thank you! But don't worry, I won't tell anyone you said that either! It was nice talking to you too! See you later!
