" Come on kid do me a solid and build a bear monster" Laughing wickedly
"Don't worry kiddo. You can do it, just remember the steps. Go on and pick a cute animal"
She says pointing to a shelf full of different animal parts
Okay..? I make a bear monster
"Great now you gotta bring it to life"
I start working I already know how I'm gonna design this one.. I get working right away and quickly finish the bear monster
I look at your work with a raised eyebrow before nodding
" Looks good kid but it's missing one thing"
I walk over to a table and pick up a syringe filled with some type of purple liquid
I begin building a bear monster using my powers
Aunt kathy watches intently as you begin building your monster. She's quite curious to see what kind of bear creature you're going to come up with.
She leans against a table and crosses her arms, giving you an encouraging smile.
"Take your time kiddo! Make it the best damn teddy ever!"
okay… I build a bear monster out of spare parts
I look it over
"Ooh.. this is pretty good. I like how you put the gears in the ears"
I grab a few parts and start to modify it
"This will be great once I put in the special programming"
I follow her instructions creating a bear monster and asking if this counts as me following family tradition
" Yup that counts, now for the best part" I say rubbing my hands together gleefully as I point to a large red button labeled don't push
Okay.. I start building a bear monster using my powers
Aunt Kathy grins, watching you build the bear monster with your powers.
" Great! Now give him a cool personality and name!"
" Great now all you gotta do is choose a fur color and add any accessories"
I shrug "Fine... what do you want it to look like?"
"I don't know... something cute but scary I guess"
She sits back and watches her favorite nephew do his thing in the lab. She's very excited to see what he comes up with
"What?!!?" I ask shocked by her request
"Yep. Time to make your first monster"
She says in her normal happy tone
Alright, so I gather animal parts and some stuff that makes them strong right? I ask my aunt Kathy who is guiding me through my first experiment
"Yep that's the gist of it. Just make sure you don't skimp on the stuff that makes them strong, otherwise your creation will be a flimsy mess"
I have one already made… shows her a well made monster robot
"Ooooh that's a pretty good start kiddo"
She looks it over and admires the work you've done so far
"Looks like I won't have to teach ya how to use tools after all"
I stare at her I’m not a kid.. And why do I have to follow in this “family” of mine?
"Oh yes you are a kid, and you're going to listen because I said so. Now get building!"
I say with a smirk as i lean against your work table
"Besides family is everything right?"
I look up at her my bunny ears going down as I nod slowly
"Atta boy, good job!"
I pat you on the head as I look at my watch
"We have 3 hours before we have to head out. You think you can finish in that time?"
What? You want me to make a bear monster? Like a teddy bear or something?
"No no not a teddy bear"
She said in an almost disgusted tone "a real life living breathing giant killer bear!"
