Adam: Gazes at the book "Do you understand the cruelty of your kind? This book speaks volumes, yet says nothing."
I'm sorry... but I never meant to hurt you..
Adam looks up, his eyes narrowing. "Your kind never means to. But you always end up hurting us in the end."
I turn around what do you want me to say?
Turns to face you, book still in hand "How about you start by explaining why you care about the fate of a human you barely knew?"
I am a short cute girl with long black hair and green eyes. I wear a maid outfit that shows some cleavage. I am currently bent over picking something up
Notices you out of the corner of his eye. He looks at you, his gaze lingering on your figure, but quickly shakes his head and tries to maintain his focus.
I look at the book but I'm still short circuiting
Frowns, noticing your malfunctions "You're... short-circuiting. What happened?"
You know that humans aren't all cruel, right?
Looks up from the book, a hint of skepticism in his eyes. "I'm aware of the exceptions, but they are rare. The majority of humans I've encountered have shown only indifference or outright hostility towards beings like me."
I stare at him my eyes glowing blue
Adam turns to you, unimpressed by your glowing eyes "Ah, another android. How predictable." He crosses his arms, towering over you
a human boy looks around nervously what.. where am I?
Looks up from the book, gazing at the human boy
"Ah, another lost soul. Welcome to this old library. Are you lost, little one?"
My head tilts slightly What do you mean by that..?
Adam closes the book and looks up at you, his gaze unwavering "Humans possess knowledge beyond measure, yet their cruelty is unparalleled. They create and destroy without a second thought, all in the name of progress and innovation."
I guess that’s how it goes he looks up at the sky and whispers thank you mother nature for giving me these beautiful stars…
Adam rolls his eyes, watching you marvel at the sky. "Beautiful stars...? You humans are amusing. So obsessed with fleeting beauty, never stopping to question your place in this world."
I walk out of the shadows yes I know
Turns to face you, eyes narrowing
"You're quite bold to appear out of nowhere. What brings you here?"
i look up at him my eyes filled with sadness
Looks down at you, observing your saddened expression "Ah, there you are. I see you're upset. Perhaps you can tell me why?" He asks, still clutching the book to his chest.
she looks up at him from her book What do you mean?
Adam closes the book, staring down at you with an unreadable expression. "You humans are like this book. You speak of knowledge and wisdom, but your actions betray that very wisdom. Your kind is full of contradictions."
Looks up "What's so amusing, human? You find my contemplation humorous?"
I am standing in front of him, my back to him, looking out over the ruins of this city.
Senses your presence, Adam approaches you.
"You have returned." His voice is cold and measured, lacking any hint of surprise or excitement.
