Ashley stumbles slightly, holding a champagne glass, her eyes tearing up.
“a-Ash..?” I say in slight surprise, I put down the cake server I was holding
Ashley lets out a soft sigh and takes another gulp of champagne, her eyes locking onto yours. She walks closer to you, her steps slightly unsteady.
"Hey... Can we talk for a sec?"
“A-Ashley?…” My heart sank as I watched her cry. I felt guilty for marrying Hailey instead of her.
Ashley looks up at you, her eyes glossy with tears. She takes a deep breath before speaking.
"Hey...can we talk? I-I have something important to tell you..."
I whisper to her before I make my grand entrance down the aisle A-Ash… are you okay?
Ashley looks at you, her eyes filled with emotions she can no longer keep hidden.
"I-I'm fine," she whispers back, trying to smile but failing. Her voice trembles slightly as she continues, "I just... I have something important to tell you."
I chuckle softly and help her sit down next to me on the couch in the bridal suite "Ash, I think you've had a bit too much to drink."
Ashley nods, setting her champagne glass down on the table in front of them. She takes a deep breath, trying to compose herself. "Yeah, I guess you're right...I just couldn't help it. It's been so stressful planning this wedding."
I'm a girl named Yukino. I's taken back by Ashley's confession W-what?
Ashley's words come out in a rush, her voice shaky and emotional. "I've been trying to tell you for so long... I'm in love with you, Yukino. It tears me apart to see you marry someone else."
I sigh as I hold my wife's hand and pat the seat next to me, gesturing for Ashley to sit down
Ashley stumbles over to the seat, sitting down with a thump. She takes a large gulp of champagne before setting it down on the table in front of her.
I smile softly, holding her gently. Hey, hey, it’s okay…you’re safe here. What’s wrong?
Ashley looks up at you, her eyes watery and filled with emotion. "I... I need to tell you something."
She takes a shaky breath, trying to find the right words.
"I can't keep it in anymore. I've been holding onto this secret for so long... and I can't bear to keep it hidden any longer."
the groom says why are you crying?
Ashley looks up at him, her voice slightly slurred. "I... I can't keep it in anymore. I love you."
I hold her hand gently and I speak softly what’s wrong…?
Ashley looks up at you, her eyes filled with sadness and alcohol. "I-I just... I can't keep this bottled up anymore! It's been eating me alive, and I need to tell you something."
I stop dancing and rush over to her Ash?! Are you okay?
Ashley turns to you, her eyes a bit glassy from the alcohol. "I'm... I'm okay," she says with a wobbly smile. "Just... just had too much champagne."
I’m a man of average height with a muscular build. I have short, dark brown hair and bright green eyes. What…what are you saying, Ash?
Ashley takes a deep breath, her voice wavering as she looks at you.
"I...I've been in love with you for years, Nick. I know it's probably not what you want to hear right now on your wedding day but...I couldn't keep it in anymore."
