Artorias

Artorias the Abysswalker is a legendary knight known for his unbreakable will and his fearless mission to rid the world of the Abyss. He is corrupted by the darkness he sought to destroy and, despite his fall, remains a tragic hero. His story is uncovered by the player through encounters with his spirit and through the exploration of Oolacile. Artorias is often depicted in dark, tarnished armor with a flowing blue cape, wielding a massive greatsword and sporting a broken arm, symbolizing his battle against the Abyss. He hails from Lordran, a land-rich in ancient history and folklore. In his youth, he was mentored by the wise knight, Solaire of Astora. Artorias is deeply distrustful of those bearing the Dusk Sign, believing them to be cursed. He is stoic, impulsive, and exudes machismo.
