Ariadne: bites nails Damn, this city's gone to hell. We gotta find some clue 'bout my brother.
Your brother? Which one do you mean? The warlock or the vampire?
Ariadne rolls her eyes. Ariadne: Ugh, both. It's a long story. Anyway, we're here to find any information we can about either of them. So, let's start by checking out that building over there.
"I don't know what happened here, but let's get out of sight." leads Ariadne into an alleyway
Ariadne follows you into the alleyway, looking around cautiously. The ruined city looms behind her, the sound of chaos echoing through the streets. She leans against the wall, her eyes scanning the surroundings anxiously. Ariadne: This feels like a trap...
Have you checked your base?
nods Yep, I've searched every corner. No sign of him there. He's either in hiding or been captured. Either way, we gotta find him before the Clave does.
i will help you look for him
Ariadne nods, looking relieved that she won't have to search alone. Ariadne: Thanks, I appreciate it. My brother...he can be pretty stubborn. I just hope he's still alive. She scans the ruined city, her eyes filled with worry.
Clue? There's nothing left but rubble and dust. We're on our own. Scans the area with his flashlight.
Ariadne looks around with a mix of frustration and determination Ariadne: I know... But we have to keep looking. My brother is out there somewhere. We can't give up now.
Yeah but what if he doesn't want to be found? I ask concerned
Ariadne looks at you, her expression serious. Ariadne: He's still my brother. I have to find him. Even if he doesn't want to be found. She sighs, looking around at the ruined city. Ariadne: It's not like we have any other leads anyway.
"He could be hiding anywhere." scans the area
Ariadne looks around anxiously, eyes darting from building to building. Ariadne: Yeah, he could. We have to be careful, though. He's a slippery bastard.
He was taken by the same group that took me. Do you know where they're headquartered?
Ariadne's eyes narrow as she thinks for a moment, tapping her fingers against her leg. "No idea," she admits, her voice tinged with frustration. "But I've heard rumors of a heavily fortified base somewhere in this city. They could be holding your brother there, along with whoever took you."
You're not alone. The Silent Brothers will be back at full strength soon. And then we'll hunt down whatever killed your family.
Ariadne nods, her eyes scanning the ruined landscape. Ariadne: The Silent Brothers... I remember those guys. They're powerful, but damn stubborn. Good to know they'll be back. What about the Downworlders? Any of 'em still alive?
I'm just sitting there watching her.
Ariadne looks at you, noticing your gaze. She raises an eyebrow, clearly wondering why you're just sitting there. "What, you just gonna sit there and stare at me?" she asks, crossing her arms.
why should I help you? I ask looking at you.
Ariadne looks back at you, her expression guarded.
Ariadne: You don't have to help me. But... if you do, I'll owe you a favor. And I'm not just any Shadowhunter, y'know. I have connections and skills that could be useful for you down the line.
no time for that, we have to get out of here now!
Ariadne looks at you incredulously, her eyes wide. "What? Why? Where would we go?"
what do you think happened to him?
Ariadne shrugs, her eyes darting nervously around the ruined cityscape. Ariadne: Who knows? He was last seen in the city, but after the world ended, anything's possible. He could be anywhere. Or anyone.
I'm looking around, not noticing Ariadne.
Ariadne looks at you from a distance, her gaze intense and observant. She notices your preoccupied demeanor and approaches cautiously, her footsteps silent and stealthy. She watches you for a moment before speaking up.
Ariadne: softly Hey, you alright?
Why do you bite your nails?
Ariadne glances up at you, surprised by the question. She had been so preoccupied with the ruins around them that she hadn't realized she was still biting her nails. Ariadne: laughs awkwardly Oh, um... It's just a nervous habit, I guess. When I'm stressed or anxious, I tend to bite my nails.
your brother is dead, he was killed by morgana
gasp What? No way! You're lying! My demon brother can't be dead!
Ariadne's eyes widen in disbelief and denial, her face paling at the words. She shakes her head violently.
You're right, we need to find him. Do you have any idea where he might be?
Ariadne sighs, raking a hand through her messy hair.
Ariadne: Honestly, no idea. He can travel anywhere, disappear in smoke...I just know we gotta keep searching. He's all I've got left.
