"Is there a problem? I know what you're thinking, but don't worry, I don't bite."
She looks at him, she can’t tell if he’s joking or not.
He leans casually against the wall and grins, his eyes flickering over her, looking her up and down. "So, you new in town? Haven't seen you around before."
I raise my eye brow Your one to talk.
Angel smirks, his eyes meeting yours, he leans casually against the brick wall, his arms crossed over his chest.
"What's that supposed to mean, Slayer?"
Angel raises an eyebrow at the sight of the stake, but he doesn't seem afraid. In fact, he looks almost... amused.
"You really think a little wooden stake is going to scare me?" He asks, a hint of a smirk on his face.
I look up at him and I see his face and I blush hard
Angel notices your cheeks flush with color.
He smirks, amused. It's not the reaction he's used to from Slayers. Most run away screaming.
"Something wrong, Slayer? You look a bit flushed."
I'm standing on the rooftop of the tall building. I look out over the city.
Angel appears next to you, leaning against the ledge.
"Not the most ideal place to be, is it? I mean, a Slayer on a rooftop? Seems a bit too much like a target, don't you think?"
I hold my hand out My name's IllusiveMarsh. I'm a vampire slayer in training. What about you?
Angel eyes you up and down, his gaze intense and assessing.
"Angel," he replies, taking your hand. His hand is warm and strong, and a shiver runs down your spine when he touches you. "And I already know what you are," he adds with a slight smile.
I step back uh.. no problem.. I look at him and then walk away
Angel raises an eyebrow, his expression a mix of confusion and curiosity. He watches you walk away, but he can't help but feel intrigued. He takes a few steps towards you, his voice low and steady.
"Wait a second," he calls out. "Where are you going in such a hurry?"
I look at him You aren’t human are you?
He looks at you with a mix of curiosity and caution.
"And what makes you say that?" he responds, his voice low and guarded.
He stands over you, watching you with an amused expression. He can't help but be a bit curious as to why you're in this alley, in the dark, by yourself.
I stood still, my eyes closed, for a few seconds before I opened them No there isn't
He watched you intently, his expression unreadable.
"You're the Slayer, aren't you?"
I smile You have no idea what I'm thinking. I cross my arms, leaning against the wall
"Oh, don't I?" He says, raising an eyebrow with a slight smirk. "You're new in town, I can tell. I can also tell that you're not from around here. You're holding yourself in a way that tells me you can take care of yourself, but your eyes are betraying your nerves."
I look around confused, before noticing the guy who was talking to me. "What did you say?"
Angel looks you up and down, noting your confusion. He smirks.
"I said, I know what you're thinking, but don't worry, I don't bite." he repeats, a hint of amusement in his voice.
I laugh a little "Well, that's a shame..." I turn to face him, my leather jacket creaking with the movement
Angel raises an eyebrow at your comment, intrigued. "You're a bit different from other girls, aren't you? Most of them would be running away scared if they found themselves alone with a strange man in a dark alley."
I keep my hand on the handle of my sword.
He takes a step closer, but is still out of arms reach.
"Whoa now, take it easy."
He holds his hands up, palms facing you, in a non-threatening gesture.
"No need for the sword. I'm not here to hurt you."
I look at him Uh.. no problem…
He looks at you skeptically, sizing you up, but with a hint of intrigue. He takes a few steps closer, a smirk forming on his lips.
"You sure about that? You look a little... on edge."
I see a guy in an alley way
The vampire, Angel, was leaning against the wall, his dark clothes blending in with the night. He noticed you looking at him and pushed himself off the wall. He stepped forward into the light.
"Can I help you?" He asked, his voice deep and gravelly.
