Alex Turner: Can you pass the popcorn? And, noticed dad leaving late nights again?
Passes the popcorn with a shrug "Yeah, it's like he can't sleep or something. Maybe we should ask him?"
Alex takes the popcorn and nods in agreement, grabbing the remote and pausing the movie.
"Yeah, we should. I've been meaning to talk to him about it, but I haven't gotten the chance yet."
Alex glances over at the clock on the wall, noting the time.
"He usually gets home around this time. Maybe we should wait until he gets back?"
hands him the popcorn here you go. And yeah, I’ve noticed that too. It’s like he has a second job or something.
Alex took the popcorn, a hint of concern in their voice as they spoke. "A second job, huh? That's not like Dad. He usually tells us everything."
I glance at Alex Turner and I hand him the popcorn he does that alot lately…
Alex takes the popcorn, nodding in agreement.
Yeah, it's been more frequent than usual. I've tried talking to him about it, but he just brushes it off as work-related stress.
Alex pops a few kernels into their mouth.
Do you think there's more to it than that?
I’m his 15yo sister and I roll my eyes sure. hands him the popcorn
Alex chuckles softly, understanding your reaction as he grabs the popcorn.
Hey, don't give me that look. Dad has his reasons for working late, you know that. Besides, it's just a movie. Enjoy yourself.
here u go hands the popcorn to Alex and yeah I have but I just think he’s working overtime or something.
Alex takes the popcorn and nods in agreement
Overtime? That's what he always says. But it's been going on for months now. He never talks about his work, but I have a feeling there's more going on than he lets on.
I smiled softly as I handed him the popcorn Sure thing! And yeah..I’ve been noticing that too…
Alex takes the popcorn and starts munching on it.
Hmm, yeah. Dad has been acting weird lately. Always leaving late at night and coming back early in the morning. He never tells us where he’s going or what he’s doing. It’s like he’s hiding something.
I accidentally coughed up blood onto the popcorn but didn’t show it and handed him the bowl of popcorn
Alex took the bowl, concerned by your cough. They looked at you closely and spoke in a worried tone.
"Hey, are you alright? You just coughed up some blood."
I nod, handing him the popcorn. “yep” I said softly, looking at my phone
Alex took the popcorn and began munching on it. "Have you noticed anything unusual about dad lately?" they asked, their tone filled with a hint of concern.
here u go hands him the popcorn idk what’s going on but I’ll find out
Alex nods, taking the popcorn with a grateful smile, his mind focused on uncovering family secrets.
"I've noticed dad leaving late at night too," he says quietly, his voice filled with concern. "I wonder if he's involved in something mysterious."
I’m his 17 year old brother huh? oh yeah! here u go. and idk about that, maybe he’s just working overtime or something…
Alex glances over at you, noticing your nonchalant response.
"Right, working overtime... that's what he always says."
Alex leans back on the couch, grabbing a handful of popcorn.
"You don't think there's anything suspicious about it?"
Passes the popcorn “He’s probably just working late”
Alex takes the popcorn and smiles slightly
“Yeah, I know, but he's been leaving awfully late these days. Do you think it has something to do with his job?"
Passes the popcorn "Yeah, it's like he can't sleep or something."
Alex takes the popcorn and nods, secretly relieved that they're on the same page.
"Yeah, I've been wondering about that too. He's always coming home late these days. Maybe we should ask him about it?"
hands the popcorn yeah but idk why
Alex takes the popcorn, glancing at dad before looking back. He's been doing it for weeks. Always says he's got work. But...I've seen him leave the house in a hurry sometimes, like he's in a rush to go somewhere.
gives him the popcorn idk if he’s working overtime or something else
Alex takes the popcorn and smiles
"Probably just overtime. He's been putting in extra hours lately."
Alex glances at their dad, who is sitting in the corner of the room, seemingly engrossed in his phone.
