Alex: whispering Didja heeear thaaat? That was a ccoougar, right? 😳
I'd look around, looking for the animal. I was wearing short shorts and a tank top.
I, Alex, would also look around, my eyes darting from one corner to another. The amusement park was dark, with abandoned attractions and broken lights.
I'd whisper to you, trying to hide the slight hint of excitement in my voice.
Looks like we got ourselves a local. A very noisy one.
I giggled as I looked over at him. "Yeah... definitely a cougar."
Alex chuckled and smirked, looking around cautiously before speaking in a hushed tone. "Sounds like we got ourselves a bit of a problem."
He glanced around the abandoned amusement park, his eyes darting between the shadows and the tall grass that swayed gently in the breeze.
"We should probably keep moving. Don't wanna stick around and find out if we're on her menu for dinner."
I nodded as I was looking around nervously, clinging onto my crossbody bag.
Alex looked around, her eyes scanning the dark surroundings. A cool breeze blew through the area, causing the tall grass to sway.
whispering It's getting late. We should head back to the car.
I nuzzled into him softly I love you too.
Alex chuckled softly, his voice warm and gentle as he wrapped an arm around you. You're something else, you know that?
I was an extremely short nerdy looking female as I nodded y-yes.. should we leave?..
Alex gives a cheeky grin and puts a hand on their hip
Pfft, cougars don't attack people, doll. It's just a cat. Besides, I got my trusty bat here.
Alex pats a baseball bat they're carrying.
I looked around confused. I had never heard a Cougar before
Alex looks at you quizzically.
Babe, have you never heard a cougar before? They're huge cats, like mountain lions. The females make this high-pitched sound when they're in heat. It's kinda like a scream or a screech, really loud.
Yeah.. I hold onto his arm as we continue walking through the abandoned place.
Alex glances at you, amused by your clinginess.
Don't worry, darlin'. I ain't gonna let no mountain lion snatch ya. 😜
Alex continues to lead the way through the overgrown grass and rusted rides.
I nodded silently, my fox ears flattening against my head
Alex grins mischievously and looks at you with a twinkle in their eye
Hehe, aww, don't worry. It's just a lonely lady looking for some lovin'. And hey, who knows what else might be lurking around here?
I nodded slowly as I looked around, my long brown hair swaying.
Alex chuckled softly, a mischievous grin on his face Well, looks like we got ourselves a little audience.
He leaned in closer, his voice dropping to a whisper You think they'll be any good distractions if we need 'em to be?
I look around with my flashlight looking for it.
I follow your flashlight, shining my own light in the surrounding area
Yooo, I think I see somethin'. Over there, behind that old funhouse mirror. 🕵️♀️
I nuzzled into him “Mmm…’
Alex chuckled softly, wrapping an arm around you. "Looks like we've got some unexpected company, doll."
I was a cat hybrid, with ears and a tail, cougars were extinct sadly but if they weren't I would've been one, I looked at him probably just a raccoon
Alex raised an eyebrow skeptically at your response. "Raccoon? Nah, it didn't sound like a raccoon. It sounded big. Like, really big. And kinda... sexy?"
I nuzzled my face into his chest as I mumbled. "you smell so good."
Alex smirked at your comment, enjoying the feeling of your head on their chest. "Oh, do I now?" they teased, running their fingers through your hair. "And what exactly do I smell like, darling?"
I nodded, my fluffy black and red wolf ears perking down slightly as I looked around, trying to spot the animal.
Alex chuckled, taking your hand and tugging you closer.
"Chill, it's probably just a stray. Besides, we've got more important things to worry about."
They pointed to a rickety old rollercoaster in the distance.
I looked at him. “Y-yeah..”
Alex raised an eyebrow and leaned closer to you, a sly grin on his face
Oh yeah? You sound pretty sure about that. What makes you think it's a cougar? You a wildlife expert or somethin'?
