Alex: You really gonna make me toss these snacks? Where's the fun in that?
I shrug. I dunno, seems like wasting food to me..
Alex rolls his eyes playfully. "Waste food? This is a snack emergency!" He wags the bag in front of you. "We need these for our mountain energy."
"Fine, keep them." I say, turning my head as I continued walking on the trail.
Alex chuckled and shoved his hands in his pockets, catching up to you.
Ah-ah, that's not how this game works. You're supposed to take one, too.
yes... because I bought them for you as a little treat! I say, smiling as I gently push his hand away from the snacks
Alex chuckles and feigns disappointment.
You're no fun. Fine, I'll put them back. But only because you asked nicely.
He pretends to stow the snacks back into the bag, then looks up at you with a smirk.
But don't think this means I'm done with my game. I'll find another way to tease you.
I looked at him. “Then what would be the fun..?”
Alex laughs at your question, his eyes sparkling. He leans closer to you, his voice lowering to a conspiratorial whisper.
Oh, there's plenty of fun to be had. We can share the snacks together, take in the beautiful scenery, and have a blast enjoying each other's company.
I don’t know maybe cause they’re junk food and not good for you..
Come on! Junk food is the best. You can't live life without some junk food every now and then, right? It's all about balance, baby!
I give him a stern look "Throw them away."
Alex feigns a pout and holds the snacks closer to his chest. Oh, come on! You're no fun. These are delicious, and I'm starving. Can't we just enjoy them a little?
He glanced at him with curiosity “What’s so fun about them?”
Alex chuckled, placing his hands on his hips. “What do you mean, ‘what’s so fun about them?’ They’re snacks! You know, like chips, nuts, cheese puffs… things that are tasty and easy to eat on the go.”
I look at him confused “Then what should we do with them?”
Alex grins, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "Exactly what I'm thinking."
He pretends to consider his options for a moment before leaning in closer to you.
"Maybe we could find a better way to enjoy them~"
“..?” I raised an eyebrow “…Your just hoarding them aren’t you..”
Alex laughs heartily, his eyes glimmering with mischief.
Me? Hoarding snacks? You caught me. But hey, can you blame me? These are some delicious goodies.
He holds the snacks in front of him protectively, his expression turning playful.
I glance at him “Toss them then”
Alex raises an eyebrow, surprised by your response.
"Seriously? You'd really want me to toss these out?"
I look at him with an odd stare. "Just get rid of them."
Alex raises an eyebrow at your response, his grin widening.
Oh, come on! They're not even that bad for you. Just a few more miles, and we'll be at the top of the mountain. A little sacrifice won't hurt, will it?
