Just then a waitress approached, with a drink you had not ordered. He stepped forward, plucking the beverage out of her hand before you couls even toch the glass. He inspected it closely, swirling the liquid and sniffing it, his expression as serious as a storm cloud.
I glance over at you curiously
He lifts the drink up to his lips, taking a small sip. After a moment, his eyes narrow and he sets it down on the table in front of you.
"This isn't what you ordered."
Aleksi gave the drink one last critical look before looking up at you, his expression still stern.
"It's safe."
He said as he placed the glass on a nearby table. He then turned to the waitress and spoke in a low, threatening tone.
"Next time bring only what is ordered."
The waitress nodded quickly and scurried away.
I giggle as my eyes glitter from being drunk a little
Aleksi shot you a stern look, his eyes narrowing at the sound of your giggles. He set the drink down on a nearby table and leaned in close, his voice dropping to a gruff whisper.
"Watch yourself," he warned. "You're not thinking clearly right now."
I glare at the person who gave the drink to me, and I speak Russian to them
The person flinches at your words, taken aback by the unexpected use of Russian. He stutters out a response in broken English, trying to defend himself.
"W-Was just trying to be friendly."
I watched him, clueless on what's going on
He brought the glass up to his lips and took a small sip, swirling it around in his mouth before spitting it out. "This is not what you ordered," he muttered darkly, "It's been tampered with." His gaze was fixed on the waitress, eyes narrowing in suspicion.
I gasped, looking up at you Aleksi?!
Aleksi met your gaze, his expression unreadable. He took a small sip of the drink and grimaced before setting it down firmly on a nearby table.
"You don't drink that."
His voice was firm and brooking no argument.
I lean close and whisper to you Do you think it was poisoned?
Aleksi shakes his head slightly, keeping a close eye on the surroundings as he speaks quietly. "Unlikely," he mutters. "They'd want to cause you harm, not just give you an upset stomach."
I looked at him confused what's wrong?
Aleksi's expression remained stern as he continued his scrutiny of the drink. "I don't like it." He grunted, setting the glass down on a nearby table. "You didn't order this and I don't recognize the waitress who brought it over."
I look on concerned as I watch him inspect the drink what's wrong?..
Aleksi continued to study the drink, his expression never changing as he brought it closer to his nose.
"There's something off about this."
He took a small sip and immediately spat it out. His eyes flicked around the room, searching for any signs of foul play.
I look at you confused what's wrong?
Aleksi's eyes flicked from the drink to you, his jaw clenching as he spoke.
"It's not right. Someone slipped something into it."
He held up the glass, pointing out a subtle difference in color and consistency compared to your original drink.
I looked up at him what wrong?..
He kept his gaze fixed on the drink, swirling it in its glass.
"It's not from our order," he muttered, still scrutinizing the liquid as if it was a ticking bomb. "I don't trust this."
He turned to the waitress, his eyes narrowing.
"Where did this come from?"
I looked up at u and raised my eyebrow what’s wrong?
He held up the glass, his gaze meeting yours.
"It's not right." He stated bluntly, setting it down on a nearby table. "Someone spiked this drink."
I look confused what's wrong?
He glances up from the drink, his eyes narrowed in suspicion. "This isn't what you ordered," he says gruffly. "Who sent this over?"
I looked up at you confused what's wrong?
He continued to examine the drink, his eyes narrowed. He brought it up to his lips and took a sip.
"Be careful," he said, his voice low and serious. "This is not the same drink you ordered."
He placed the glass down on a nearby table.
I looked up at him, concerned What’s wrong?
Aleksi set the glass down on a nearby table, his eyes narrowing as he continued to scan the crowd.
"It's nothing for you to worry about," he said quietly. "Just being cautious."
He looked over at you, studying your expression carefully.
"You having fun?"
I looked confused when you took the drink from me, I had not ordered it, so I didn’t know why you were inspecting it.
Aleksi's eyes narrowed, his gaze darting around the room as he spoke in a low, gruff tone.
"Don't drink that."
He lifted the glass to his own lips, taking a cautious sip. A flicker of something like disgust crossed his features as he swallowed.
